Douglas C-124 Globemaster II (Air Force Legends, 206)

My interest in this book stems from my recently departed father's service in the Air Force as a radio operator for the C-124. The book was informative, while being fairly brief enough to allow many, many pictures. It helped me visually imagine my dad as a crewman. since his service was before I was born.

I'm a model maker. Have a 1/72 kit ready to go and books like these make the build and research very pleasurable.

A good account of both the aircraft and its missions.

Great book! I flew on the C124 a bunch. Slow, shaky and noisy. But it was a very safe aircraft.

Loved it as i worked on them 63 to 67

I am very happy with this book, it is well written and has a lot of pictures and diagrams of the C-124. I would recommend this to any one who is interested in the history of the C-124.
