Very durable and big enough for 10 people easily!
Bought this 1 year ago for floating on the river! First trip with it was AMAZING! holds so many people comfortably and having the sunken area with the shade is just great for when you need a break from the sun! I suggest buying a good pump because she takes ALOT of air! We bought the bright orange "wow" pump here on Amazon and it works flawlessly and moves a huge amount of air making inflating this giant a breeze! We are about to load up for another float trip as I type this and everyone is excited to be on this float again! Do NOT pass this up it's worth it at twice the price!

Awesome toy-a few suggestions to make it better.
Love this floating island!! It’s a great alternative to buying a boat. We took it out to the lake on a hot day. It was amazing and it inflated in about 30 minutes. This doesn’t come with a pump, so I’m glad we had an air mattress pump that plugs into the cigarette lighter. The portable battery operated pumps are way too slow with this. The other thing to consider is having an anchor or something to tie the float to. Also oars would be helpful. Luckily we had good strong swimmers that pulled us the where we wanted to be.Love the shaded covering, but with a sudden gust of wind one of the stakes holding it up snapped. Is there a way to get replacement parts? We were able to comfortably fit 7 adults and 2 kids on it. We could have fit more if we needed to.Great investment for a fun day on the lake, just go prepared with my suggestions and it will be a perfect day.

Fun!
So fun! Only used once so far, but it was exactly what we wanted. I purchased it for a girls trip and we had a blast using it. It is very large. Label reads 6 people, but we had up to 9 people at one point and the ice chest. The shade is great option too, for those that want it. I hope this lasts more than one summer. Great price too. We did need our own anchor to hold it in place (which depends on where its being used)

Super fun. Keep expectations in check
Update: 3 years after we bought a 2nd one.The first one lasted less than a year due to some terrible abuse. But we didn't blame Floatchilla (name stolen from another review) because we don't believe it was intended to endure that. So we bought a replacement.3 years and at least 20 lake trips later - with as many as 8 people on it - we've enjoyed it a lot. The winds need to be really calm or you need a really solid anchor or the canopy acts as a sail.Only thing I find annoying is the location of the cooler. Right in the middle of everything. Would have been much better if it were closer to the seating area.----We have used this one time now, in a lake by our house. We tested it in our pool and promptly put a hole in it by scraping it against super sharp aluminium from our lanai, but we fixed it and got it together in a hurry.Plusses:- really, really fun- comparatively cheap- relatively tough. We could pull it (slowly) with our jet skis out into the lake and drop anchor. Canopy held on (but flexed a lot) in the breeze. Handle held on when people hoisted themselves out of the water. Survived inflation and deflation in an asphalt parking lot. People can and did stand on the netting with no problems.- fairly big. 4 adults and 2 way too energetic children fit just fine. Perhaps 8 rather sedate adults would fit, but 6 was good.- space for the cooler- numerous cupholdersMinuses:- not fully marine rubber, like the kind from a tube you'd pull with a boat. Pretty good, but not the toughest anywhere- the cooler than comes with it is completely porous and leaks everywhere. Soon that opening where the cooler fits is full of freezing cold meltwater, and it melts fast.- it can be difficult for people without a lot of upper body strength (compared to their weight) to hoist themselves out by pulling on the handles.A few solutions we implemented:- we bought a vinyl type B patch kit with lots of extra. We figure holes WILL happen, so we'll be prepared if they do- We have similar sized cooler with a hard plastic interior that we will use. The one that comes with it will be made into a trash container- we bought a 3.5 lb anchor to hold it still in the lake- we have added a 3 foot rope ladder to the side to help people get in out of the water- we brought numerous small ropes to tie assorted things to it, such as a bluetooth radio, bag for flip flops and sunglasses, the jet skis, etc.Not sure how long it will last, but so far it's been great!
