I've now taken this backpack across the world on many trips and it is time to leave a proper review.When I am going to a warm climate I can fit a week of clothes, 15 in. laptop, toiletries, and a book or two all in this backpack and slide it under the seat in front of me as a carry on. Its size is perfect, and when you have to overstuff it a bit the clips on the exterior help you keep the contents condensed so the bag can fit under the seat. I am skeptical I could fit a 17 in laptop in there when the main pouch is full of clothes, but I haven't tried. The main pouch for clothes is huge, and fully unzips on 3 sides like a suitcase which I have found to be very handy.The laptop pocket can be frustrating to pack, because it unzips in an upside down U so anything heavy in the exterior pocket makes the zipper section uncooperative. Minor design flaw that I have learned to work around by not fully unzipping the pocket and by packing the exterior pocket last. I wish the zipper shape was a sideways U like the main pocket rather than a vertical U.So far nothing on the bag has broken or torn, the stitching quality is acceptable but I expect it won't last a decade. Should last me a good few more years though. The packing pouches that are included are very cheap and one has torn on me a tiny bit, but I still use them all and find them useful. The biggest pouch included is about the same size as the backpack (see picture). I find the material the bag is made of a bit hard to clean, so the bag has gotten some stains that I can not remove.Overall I am very pleased with the bag for the price, and recommend it to anyone looking for an under-seat carry on backpack that they can travel with and expect to last for 5 or so years. It has been a good travel accessory for me. I hope they come out with a new version with a sideways secondary pocket zipper.

I bought this to return to the Philippines in 2022. It is great for travel and I use is every day taking my kids to school and protecting printed matter and fragile items during my commutes. The fabric is very thick and the construction is super strong. Large capacity for laptop, power supply clothes, even shoes. Price was good for the quality. I have used it for 3 years straight under difficult tropical weather conditions of harsh sun and heavy rain and it's still going strong.

Have used this backpack multiple times for the past 2 years as my primary luggage on flights. I only use it as a carry-on and it fits everything I need for about a week. It fits easily in the overhead as well as under the seat. So nice to use the back pack straps to keep my hands free walking through the airport. Only thing I would improve is a more stretchy pocket for a water bottle. Love the packing cubes as well and I even use them for them for other things when I am not using this bag.

I travel light, so this bag does well for a week or more for me. I like the 2 compartments-- they are big enough for compression packed clothes and a small laptop. It's super sturdy (so sturdy the zippers need breaking in), but also therfore a bit too heavy, esp for the not perfect shoulder straps. Its a similar weight to my farpoint 40L osprey, which has suspended strap and a good full hip belt. It needs better strapping at this weight. The straps tuck away, so their attachment is too low on the pack and all the higher weight pulls in your neck. A quick fix would be to add clipped straps between the top of the pack and the shoulder straps, like the osprey. Then you can still tuck the straps if needed by unhooking them and they would offload weight. The other issue the laptop sleeve is on the front compartment, and it was a bit iffy if weight from the other compartment was going to crack my screen. There's no hard structure, it bulges with weight and dense packing, so I'd rather my laptop against my flat back. I ended up carrying it instead of in the pack. All in all it was pretty good, for trips you're not spending all day with it on anyway. Pretty good for the price

This backpack was exactly what I wanted for a 10-day trip to Europe. Durable, comfortable to wear, small enough to qualify as a carry-on, and easy to pack. The fact that I paid under $50 for it just made it that much better.Before my trip, I did a lot of research and decided I wanted a pack that opened up like a suitcase, had well-padded shoulder straps, and durable zippers. It had to fall within the airline's dimensions for carry-on luggage and had to have multiple compartments to keep my things somewhat organized as I traveled from city to city.I looked at many backpacks before I settled on the Asenlin 40L and I definitely made the right choice! With a price far less than some of the other packs I considered, I was concerned it would be cheaply made. Once I received the pack, I saw I had nothing to worry about. The material is sturdy and water-resistant, and the zippers glided smoothly when opening and closing the pack. The packing cubes they included were a nice touch and helped me fit in everything I wanted to carry with me.My pack was heavy, yet still comfortable to carry on my back as I traveled via airplane, train, and bus. Two handles on the outside of the pack made it more versatile to carry. The handle on the side was especially helpful when I wanted to carry the pack like a traditional suitcase for a short distance. Carrying it like a suitcase for longer distances was a little iffy, as the handle is positioned in a way that the weight is not evenly distributed. However, I really appreciated having the option to carry it that way.The pack was easy to navigate into various luggage racks and fit nicely in the small-sized luggage lockers in the train stations. Overall, 100% pleased with my purchase!

This bag is perfect for weekend get always. The bag makes packing very easy and give you more room inside. I stuffed it and it easy to manage traveling solo. It will fit under an airplane seat even fully packed. Very good buy.
