A strong frame, adjustable suspension, large tires, plush seating, and a large trunk area make an excellent child bike trailer
After about 5 months of owning and using this trailer, I am currently very pleased with it. A heavy but durable frame (that I've, so far, never had to test out), modest adjustable suspension and large wheels (which I have done some testing on gravel and grass) and some plush-feeling seating make for what seems to be a very comfortable ride for my son. Definitely superior to InSTEP Sodona Bicycle Trailer purchased from a local Target store to try out bringing our son on bike rides. Some very minor cons of the trailer first:- The weight: The trailer is 34 lbs, minus the tow bar. Significantly heavier than the old trailer at around 24 lbs. You will definitely feel it going up and down hills. Be prepared to shift to lower gears than you're used to and be mindful of the increased stopping distances you will have with the trailer.- Seatbelt buckling: The buckle can be a challenge when you have a fussy child.- Headrest and helments: The existing headrest may not work well with some helmets, pushing the child's head forward. This can be remedied by either getting a helmet with a flat back, or by removing the headrest all together when the child is wearing the helmet and to place it back if he's not (I.E., using it as a standard stroller)- Reclining: This requires access to the back and to loosen or tighten 4 straps from there. You also lose some storage space in the trunk when reclining.- Tow Bar Attachment: Although the trailer side of the tow bar is very easy to connect and secure, the side attaching to the bike can use some improvement. It can take some significant hand strength to connect and remove from a bike.- No cup holders for me when using the trailer as a stroller. :)After these very minor issues for me, here some more pros:- That trunk space. Big enough to fit our son's diaper bag, the stroller wheel, food, etc. Includes a few pockets on the door for stuff like keys and wallets.- There is space to easily place a toy or drinks for my son to reach for on a ride next to the seat. There are some actual pockets in the passenger section, but I'm not sure what is supposed to go there, as I can't imagine any child being able to reach those pockets when seated and strapped.- With the windshield on, it's reasonably waterproof, especially in these light Pacific Northwest rains in the winter. He comes out completely dry, even without the optional rain cover. I'd imagine this may not be the case in a very hard rain though.- Hamax seems to officially support speeds up to 15 mph. I'll not mention whether you *can* go faster, but I can say that the old trailer was only supported up to 10 mph. Even at the higher speeds, my son doesn't seem to get thrown around thanks to the suspension, tires, and the padded seats.- Take off the wheels, and the trailer will fold down into a surprisingly small space.- My son will climb into the trailer and seat himself when he gets into the garage! He's not even two yet, but I'd say that's a good indication of how much he enjoys our rides in the trailer.- The push bar can be adjusted to a level where my son can push the trailer in stroller mode himself.

Great stroller for all situations
We love our Hamax double stroller! We had no idea what we were missing out on. Previous strollers we used didn't offer half of what the Hamax is capable of. This is the most versatile stroller! There's plenty of room for two kiddos to sit comfortably on the padded seats and the seats are easy to adjust for all different ages. Our infant and toddler buddy were comfortable with plenty of leg room and could sleep well too. Love the fact that the seats are easy to remove to wash as well. The handle bar is easy to adjust to a variety of different heights which is perfect because my husband is much taller than I am.The shocks are fantastic, easy to adjust, and the ability to steer on rough terrain is perfect. It is easy to hook up to our bike and it's a smooth ride for our little one. When attaching the bike connector, it is nice that there is plenty of storage which is where we put all the other stroller accessories among other things like the diaper bag and a few helmets. We also got the jogging wheel with the hand break with our order. The wheels are easy to swap and the jogging wheel makes you feel very in control while going fast down the road or on rough gravel trails. The double stroller is the perfect width and fits through all our doorways. It is also very easy to collapse flat and place into the back of our SUV without even taking the wheels off.The quality and durability are very good. We feel like our little man is very safe when he is in the stroller. Not to mention the mesh cover to keep out a bit of the sunshine and also the clear plastic cover is very useful when it rains, and we are from Seattle so it rains a lot.We would absolutely recommend this stroller.

The Best Bike Stroller out there!
I had this for a yr now and nothing beats the quality of this bike trailer stroller..I used this to transport my two autistic babies(Girl 3 1/2 yo, weighs 30/lbs and Boy 2 1/2 yo, weighs 22lbs) around the Island. We don't have a car(this is a good investment if you're like us don't have a car) and we walked a lot!I've tested this on mid light drizzle, they stayed dry(20 mind walk from our place to their pediatrician). Though the foot rest was a bit tad wet and their feet got a little wet but that is easy fix if you're as creative like me. 🤪 On windy days, though it's hard to walk with this when you're against the wind direction but still it's gets you to your destination. During snow, my babies stayed warm(of course with winter jackets) and dry. You know those windy snowy days? They are warm and comfortable. It is also okay to walk on unplowed pavements compared to my regular stroller.During summer time(sunscreen is applied to my babies of course), there's enough shade for them though they get started sweating when it's too hot and humid and been out long. Also, when I am in a rush, I just tossed them in without shoes and strapped them and off we go. I hop in and out of this on the MTA bus(with of course my babies handicap blue tag hanging on the safety flag) and placed them on the handicap area of the bus(photos shown on L and R). I get a stare of some ignorant people but I don't care as long as the bus driver and I are on same page! It fits perfectly on the new bus when getting in and out but on the old buses still fits but you have to wiggled out to get it in and out. I had few troubles getting in and out through some doors like getting out the Staten Island Ferry Door going to Manhattan and they let me go through the main huge doors when it's all clear. It's quite a challenge but I still love this stroller! Yes, it's heavy but sturdy than the Thule Stroller(or other bike trailer stroller) I had before having this! I carried it by myself to get inside to store it or outside our place to put them together (we live in 2F and I only weighs 106lbs, 5F tall). Most of the time, I get stopped by a stranger and they give great compliments on this stroller and asked me where I got it?! I happily told them and recommended this to anyone who asked me.🥰🤩I highly recommend this to every parent out there!Spacious cargo and foot rest, durable and comfortable! Great customer service. I lost the 3 point buckles and called customer service and they send me a new set free if charge, 2 day shipping.I mostly as well have my groceries while my babies are in it. I distributed to the bags(few bags with a gallon of milk and juice and other stuff) and it holds up without any problem.Lastly, I haven't tried the trailer but I can see it will be just fine when I used it this coming Fall(best season to ride this baby as a trailer). The plastic part of this stroller got tired so I fix it with duck take and some stickers so that my babies won't start peeling of the tape. The road on the handle bar started to rip off but still I love this stroller and still highly recommend it to every parent out there!Lastly, to secure it outside. I usedkryptonite bike lock and I wrapped the tries with the chain around through the handle bar then to the post or bike rack! 🥰🥰🥰
