Works amazingly well for my scalp and I am glad i came over this, great value for money, tackles dry ess, great scent and less itchy after and less dandruff. Works better than the head and shoulders.

As described! Smells great and works. I am using this to treat a mild but harmless "Tinea Versicolor" skin infection. (look it up if you like).I've been indoors and housebound for many years after I'd become paralyzed.Until I became able to work outdoors again and started getting a good dark tan, I'd no idea I had any issue at all. Basically you have spots on exposed skin which refuse to tan.In fact they're white spots amonst a dark tan.(which appear to shine green under a UV light).When I noticed I immediately saw a doctor who explained what the harmless infection really is. All the prescriptions where crazy expensive!So I'm treating it old school by showering with Selsun Blue 2x per day. Lather up w Selsun Blue, rinse off & done. It slowly but surely clears these patches and you begin to take a tan, properly. Hope this helps others with limited funds who have this same issue with their spots which refuse to tan. Lol.

Works as well as the Selsun Blue with the red cap (Medicated Maximum Strength) which is the one I buy normally. I was surprised that this shampoo wasn't blue. It's a peachy orange...like orange sherbet or mango smoothie. And didn't have the menthol smell that I like...instead, it smells ambiguously florally-fruity. It's not an annoying or overpowering scent. It's very clean. But you can still smell the sulfur from the active ingredient. Unlike other reviewers, I love the blue color, menthol scent, and tingly sensation of the Selsun Blue Medicated Maximum Strength shampoo, so I was disappointed that this was different than what I was used to.After using it a bit more, I do like that this is not as drying as the maximum strength. And even though it is not maximum strength, it works just as well and it helps me keep my stress eczema (on my scalp) under control. I almost have no flair ups now as long as I use this shampoo a couple times a week.Just massage it onto your scalp and let it sit there for a few minutes before rinsing out.If you don't like the menthol fragrance or the minty/tingly sensation from the other Selsun shampoo, but you still need to use medicated shampoo, give this one a try!NOTE: My dog gets the occasional dermatitis flair up and I use this on him as well. It works on dogs, too. Just keep it away from their face and eyes.

I've finally broken up with the clingy dandruff on my scalp. Before I found Selsum Blue, my sscalp is very itchy. It's embarassing to scratch or to even touch may hair in public due to worry dandruff might show up on the top of my head or if I'm wearing black. The first time using this shampoo, the coolness on my scalp gave me relief. I felt hope this is it. Selsum blue is the one. I'm right. Very effective in eliminating dandruff. I found the blue shampoo color calming. It doesn't leave my scalp dry but it did change how confident I am now with my scalp and hair. It is worth it! It's Selsum Blue shampoo and conditioner and I highly recommend!

I’m just impressed with the results... i had dandruff & itchy scalp after moving to USA and i tried lots of products for it but after using Selsun my hair looks perfect and my scalp looks clean….

I like the OG scent better, but this works as well.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It doesn't dry my hair out.
