Smooth crocheting with any type of yarn.
Love these hooks. Works well with any type of yarn and are easy on the hands. I would recommend these.

Very happy. Easy to use, the hook cradles the yarn as you pull it through the loop... rarely slips off.
I've gradually been replacing some old Boye hooks I have, where the head of the hook extends out quite a ways beyond the body of the hook. I was at a craft fair a while back, and someone doing a demonstration explained that some people find it easier to get uniform gauge with hooks where the head of the hook is tucked in like these, and is in line with the body of the hook. After hearing that, I realized that the hooks I found the most frustrating to crochet with were the ones with the other shape, and I find these faster and more comfortable to work with.I do find some yarns seem to slide easier on the metal hooks than the acrylic ones, so I've been keeping each type on hand, in most sizes.The set arrived with tape on the plastic case, to keep anything from sliding out... but it was so sticky that the case now sticks to other things. :( I ended up removing all the hooks from the cases, and not keeping them in there.Each hook is labelled with both the letter and the mm sizing down by the base (as opposed to the finger grip area where many metal hooks put the size).I put the L out of here end to end with a Susan Bates metal L, and they were the exact same diameter. Attached is a photo of a Boye hook (metal) and a hook from this set. (The Boye hook is size N, the Crystalites is a size L, I meant to grab the same size in each, but realized after taking the photos I hadn't. )

Chunky blanket
I had to make some baby blankets and I love using a thicker hook for the thick bulky yarn and these works perfect got it done within two days

Love this set
I had this set before and lost 1 of the hooks. Was happy to find it again, they feel very good in the hand and are pretty. They don't snag, quality set.

Pretty, but broke.
I loved how these look so I gave them a shot. Unfortunately, the size I was using (8mm) broke in half after I had completed almost 75% of a blanket I’m making.
