The holes are big enough for cords to go through If I have bigger cords usually I cut the end at an angle and it goes through I use 2 sizes of cord with out any problem

We counted them by weight on a scale and came up with 1002...could be from a difference in the density of the plastic, not sure of actual count. But as said, they are definitely tiny and don't go very long ways if you're stringing them.
