Comfort
I used it to fluff up my other down pillows that had gotten depressed. I just added it to the pillows I had already. I'm sleeping so much better and comfortable now. And it had small feathers with very little stems. Great product.

Great Qaulity!
Now I have no idea about the difference between Hungarian Goose Down or Down from Peking Duck (!)- But this is obviously high quality, very fine down that is the finishing touch to my DIY three component pillow: Buckwheat Hull and Latex core; inside an 18" x 24" pillowcase for stiffness with flexibility while this down is stuffed inside a standard 20" x 26" pillow case for the outer, with the 18" x 24" core inside.I was trying to duplicate an old set of feather pillows I have with a separate down outer layer. Over the years the inner core broke up and become even stiffer but still flexible white the outer layer become inundated with the feathers that broke through into the down layer, eventually poking through a double layer pillow case- no longer usable.I was intent to get both the comfort of this old feather/down pillow in a more durable and custom-iseable zippered dual platform as characteristics might change over time- in hopefully an even more comfortable assembly.I succeeded!!! I will match this pillow against any other at any price.Of course it is made specifically for my own tastes. YMMVA terrific value, worth a DIY try!!P.S,-If you want a down only pillow, at least double this quantity is needed to start with.

Very soft, fluffy, but messy!
I used a bag of this down to add to my favorite pillow that had lost much of its loft over the years (over forty!). I tried buying a new pillow, but it was expensive and way too firm. This down added just the right amount of loft to my old pillow, which is now soft and has the right firmness, just like it was when it was new. I washed the old pillow first in a pillow case that I pinned together with safety pins. I used one of the reviewer's suggestions here to work with my pillow in the bathtub, which turned out to be a great idea. This down definitely goes all over the place, and the bathtub contained most of the mess. My husband just got it wet and scooped it up. An easy clean-up. Make sure you cover your hair (pulled back, if long) and wear clothes that are low in static electricity (no fleece, for example). Cover your mouth and nose with a cotton bandana or other cloth. Have a change of clothes ready. The reason this down is so good is that it is lofty and light, so it takes to the air easily. Once I got over the mess it was making, I had a lot of fun filling my pillow. It was worth the cost (much less than a new pillow) and the fuss. I love my new (old) pillow!

Soft, fluffy, and MESSY
This is absolutely great quality down, little-to-no pokey feather pieces. Super soft and fluffy. I bought one and made a pillow for my husband who likes extremely under-filled pillows. If you like them full and fluffy I would recommend at least 2 bags for a regular sized-pillow, but one worked great for my purpose. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is not very user-friendly. It came in a sack tied up with a piece of fabric with no labeling or information. I carefully untied the knot and as soon as the bag started to open down immediately just got everywhere. It was a HUGE MESS by the time I was done filling the pillow and I got so frustrated I cried. Down was EVERYWHERE and I'm still finding it around my house a week later! Had I known it was going to be that much trouble I would've planned ahead a little better. I just wish they could make it easier to transfer from their package into yours.

Do NOT use this to restuff proper goose down comforters.
Its not entirely down, lot of feather shafts, will not buy again.

And Now I Have A Perfect Down Pillow!
This down is beautiful, soft and clean. I've been looking for a new pillow for a while, but all of the pillows I saw were either way overstuffed or obviously mostly feathers, not down. And they were very expensive.Making the pillow was fun -- and very funny. My room and I looked like we had a pillow fight! A few do's and don'ts for handling:This down is very fine and will take on a life of its own! I recommend you keep a vacuum cleaner and lint roller nearby. I loved the suggestion from another purchaser to work in the bathtub! I was going to suggest going outside if at all feasible, but the bathtub is a better idea. Don't wear a sweater! Don't wear contact lenses. If you have long hair, do tie it up (I was combing down out of my hair hours later). Don't try to use a plastic bag to transfer the down from the package to your project (This was a tip I saw online, made the mess worse because plastic has a static charge). Hope this helps!

Pricey and not enough.
Not enough fluff for one pillow in my opinion and it’s rather expensive for one bag.

Extra stuffing for some pillows.
I ordered a couple of pillows for my husband. I thought that I might need to use the extra stuffing, but the pillows are quite fluffy. So for now the feathers are put up so we can add to the pillows when they become flatter... It was a case of better safe than sorry... Feathers are quite fluffy and soft though...Nice quality
