Buyer beware. Look very carefully at the cartridge that you are replacing. These refills worked fine on one of my pens but did not fit the other because of the thicker plastic neck. It appears negligible but it made the difference between success and failure. In terms of writing, I like these refills because they are much bolder than scratchy fine points.

Absolutely LOVE these pens. They are beautiful and the ink fliws like a dream. I've bought several as gifts that were well received.

I did some research and it turns out the Schmidt brand is the gold standard for pen cartridges. The ink is bright, thick, and flows smoothly and consistently. No matter how fast I write, it leaves a nice, clear line (the other brand I used often skipped or the ink line got thinner the faster I wrote.) It even works if there is skin oil on the paper (some pens can't deal with that, so skip.) Smooth roller ball action. I like the medium tip as it produces a reasonably thick line.

These things seem to run out really fast
