I heard this litter is just like the Garfield brand which stuck to the litter boxes like glue. Has anyone had this problem with this brand?
Is this non-gmo corn? because the cats clean themselves abd do infest it
Does anyone know why these are out of stock? I tried contacting the company but they are ignoring my emails.
what is the best cat litter out there to cut down on our cat tracking it through out the house ?

Clumps like no other!!

PRETTY expensive stuff (4x my usual litter cost), but... I had a plan; after reading the multiple, thoroughly excellent reviews, on-line/YouTube, ref: performance.I had previously settled on Purina Tidy Cats as my 'go to' litter of choice, after trying ten or twelve types of litter; from cheap clay, to the most expensive out there, over the past ten years. With few as one cat, and with as many as four.23 lbs of Tidy Cats for $10.50 ($0.46/lb), at my local Dollar Store! The Arm & Hammer brand is only slightly less inexpensive, and basically equiv. (20 lbs/$10/$0.50/lb).I used ground walnut shell litter for a couple of years (~$1/lb, as I recall). Kind of expensive, though; and no better in the long run, it seems, than the Tidy Cats, or A&H litters, ref: dust, odor, & clumping (mediocre, all, at best, ref: clumping).So... I bought two bags of this $2/lb cat litter; and dumped both into my freshly-emptied, litter box (18W" x 26L" x 8 1/2"D, for my current two cats; that also have 24/7 outdoor access [less snow &/or extreme rain]).In this fair-sized litter box, it was less than three inches deep. I prefer four to six inches deep; as do my cats, it seems.So... both bags in the box; and ONLY this stuff. Tried it out - alone - for a week. And was I ever impressed!! Perfect clumping, and absolutely NO break-up; &/or lots of little stinky, urine-ized grains to hunt down with my big serving spoon. This stuff locks up fluid like no other cat litter I've ever tried or have seen! Near faultlessly; even on recent/fresh urine deposits.Breakup of urine clumps (and concomitant, annoying run down/cleanup of smaller, collateral urine/litter clumps/particles) has always been my bane, reference 'cleaning the box'.Now... problem entirely eliminated!However... the cost. Which is where my plan kicked in.Once the new litter had proven to be as good at clumping (even BETTER than claimed!), it was time to dilute it down with cheaper litter. In this case, two boxes (46 lbs, ttl) of Tidy Cats.So... 26 lbs of the Sustainably Yours litter ($52/Amazon, ttl)... thoroughly mixed with 46 lbs of Tidy Cats litter ($21/Dollar Store, ttl) equals 72 lbs of litter (about 6 1/2 deep); at a cost of...Holy Potatoes, Mama! - $73! For one 'full' (6"+) filling of my litter box. Ouch!Or... about $1/lb. Twice what I normally spend per unit weight on cat litter. And, sure enough - according to my hopes and plan...the litter MIX clumps every bit as good as the Sustainably Yours, alone! EVERY bit as well! In ALL respects. It's been almost 3 months since I filled the box with the mixed litter. Unwavering, perfect performance of the litter mix, thus far; but, finally, today, I just added one more box of Tidy Cats (23 lbs), to bring the box up to it's preferred level. So far, all I've removed is urine clumps & stools, covered in a thin skin of the litter... along with actual litter removal of ~ 3 lbs/mo. (only two (heavy) bags of litter/urine/feces lugged to the outside trash, in 3 months; compared to easily 2 or 3 times that much a month, previously). Not a single broken clump, and virtually no chasing down little bits; and wasting otherwise good litter getting them out (to keep the box as 'odor-fresh' as possible).Speaking of odor... better than average odor control; though, if your cat doesn't bury his/her urine/stool (like one of mine)... good luck. I just keep the box where I frequently pass by; and just scoop some litter over uncovered... stuff. Works fine; no objectionable odors, if 'stuff' is covered. Also, it seems - and very much as I'd hoped - that there is - knock on wood - no slowly accumulating/increasingly objectionable odor building up in the litter in the box, itself. I'm assuming, due to the efficient removal of the stinky elements; most of which I credit to the Sustainably Yours litter's exceptionally outstanding fluid control.Now... the issue is to see how many more dilutions of the Tidy Cats litter the box can sustain (at 23 lbs/addition), until the mix (slowly declining in the ratio of Sustainably Yours litter to Tidy Cats litter) reaches a point where the clumping effectiveness has lost enough capability to start annoying me.At the rate I'm going, I rather expect to get pretty far (6 or 8 months, maybe?).Once I reach that point, I'll be able to calculate the actual cost/mo./per cat of my new, so highly effective litter mix.Lastly, dust control/emanations. The Sustainably Yours litter seems to produce far less dust than the old walnut litter I used to use. Which made far less than does plain old clay litter (argh!).The Purina Tidy Cats and A&H litters seem to produce about the same amount of dust as each other - noticeably, but not particularly objectionably more than the Sustainably Yours litter, alone. My mix, falls somewhere in between.So... to sum up:The Sustainably Yours litter is fantastic; in all ways... except expense.However... it can be diluted with less expensive, middling/high quality litter to better mitigate the price of the Sustainably Yours litter. How much so? Check back every three months, or thereabouts. I'll amend this post, once I've more to report.Such as a final cost analysis.Grins

Best litter EVER!!

This is the best litter ever. I tried wheat, clay, and even pretty litter. Wheat turns the urine into dough and it's so sticky and hard to clean plus one of my dogs thinks the wheat is food so he attempts to eat from the box...clay was well... your basic clay. Usually bought the Arm and Hammer brand for the fact that the baking soda controls the odor well but it's still clay litter and is messy. Pretty Litter was almost great...almost. I think you just need to dump it once a week which seems like quite a bit of wasted money and it isn't cheap to begin with. It does absorb the urine rather than clump but after multiple cats and several visits to urinate on top of the silica that absorbed the first round of urine, it began not controlling the smell. In fact, I discovered that if they urinate on top of what is already there, the silica turns blue which leads you to think your cat might have some sort of urinary/kidney problem but I don't think that is the case as my entire pan of litter turned green/blue at one point but when I put each cat in a clean box with the same litter there was no color change and they were fine. Certainly was a scare before I realized this and think it's something they need to mention on their website. Pretty Litter was the messiest as it was all over the place. Worse than clay litter by far.Sustainably Yours litter is amazing! first off, it looks nice and second, the urine hardens so quickly and when you scoop from the bottom of the pan it quickly scoops nice and clean. It's like you don't even see where the pee is until you scoop or look closely. I have not noticed any odor so I think it works way better than the Silica litter as I've been using this for almost 2 weeks now and have yet to notice any smell. I would highly recommend this litter to anyone! It also works great in the litter robot (I have that and a box for my 1 cat who stopped using the litter robot for some reason).

soft and light

I bought the small grain litter as a replacement to my old brand. It is very soft and easy for cats to bury their poo. It clumps immediately with liquid and solid is covered like a dust so solids are easier to scoop and not damp.

Best sustainable litter for Litter Robots

I use this with my Gen I and Gen III Litter Robots as well as my manual-scoop litter boxes -- it's the BEST sustainable, biodegradable litter I've ever used (if I had this with pets growing up, it would've been a game changer!) It's super fast clumping, incredibly easy to scoop, and is crazy easy to keep the Litter Robots clean. It weighs just the right amount to balance the sensors on the Robots (Oko sawdust or pine pellets do NOT work in the Robots.) In case you need it, this is also technically "flushable" litter in small quantities. I use a different "flushable" litter to "potty train" the cats to the toilets (yes, the cats use the toilet!), but this is my backup litter if i'm out of the first. There are only two slight drawbacks to this Sustainably Yours litter: 1) it's a food grade product (cassava and corn), so if the (used) litter gets warm in summer, it can attract bugs. I use a little food-grade diatomaceous earth and mix it in with the clean litter and have had no issues, but i had to learn that. 2.) it's made of super-fine light colored grains, so you can really SEE it being tracked. I've picked up using the honeycomb sifter litter mats outside the boxes, and I have a stick vac I use routinely near the "cat room."

The best ever cat litter!

It was recommended by the pet store that I go to, and it is great! So perfectly captures everything without any smell or muss. I don't even need a litter box liner with this product that is how effective it is. I just keep the box filled with about two inches plus of the litter, and it keeps everything clean. My cat loves it.
