A good affordable camera. I do not recommend for snowboarding. I could not find myself to give it more than 3 stars for a few reasons. 1. The battery lasts for about 30 to 40 minutes at 1080p 60fps full charge in cold weather. I mainly used this camera for snowboard sessions. 2. The battery max SD card capacity is 32gb and works with sport SD cards only. 3. A couple of the adapters that came with the camera broke simply by tightening the bolt to each adapter. I've missed a handful amount of recording sessions thinking this would work in cold weather with the items provided.

I've had this camera for over a year. I've used it in extreme cold, Florida heat and underwater without issues. Battery life is a bit short but it works for me. GoPro accessories don't fit it. Great quality photos and videos.

I bought this camera at FRY's Electronics to record my Cessna flight training on landing. It works very well for a few weeks then started failing on me. I missed a lot of actions.1. time-stamp failed to show in the recording,2. device was frozen during the recording, had to remove the battery to restart to record again3. failed to do continuous recording, etc.Contacted Monster Villain Customer Support (Jessica Danai). She told me that these series had problem with the firmware and once I fill out the on-line Exchange form, they will send me a 'refurbished' camera. I am disappointed at Monster Villain for selling product with defective software. Would not recommend anyone to buy this product. You will end up wasting your money then buy a more reliable camera. I just bought GoPro Hero 4 Silver, more expensive but works much better and more reliable.BTW, I mentioned to Monster Villain Customer that I will write this review since they sell defective product and are willing to ONLY exchange with 'refurbished' camera. I guess they don't care enough. Bad business practice. Monster Digital will lose customers if they keep doing this.

I bought this camera from Fry's electronics. I was using this camera as a dash camera when the battery exploded ruining the camera. Total piece of garbage. I just threw a hundred dollar bill in the trash.

Used a few times and the battery explode inside the camera. Calling the Monster digital support and warranty they don't want to del with the issue.CRAP don't buy you will get better camera some else .
