Good solid chair but not good for humping in and out daily.
This chair is pretty comfortable and well made. There are several adjustments on it to make it more comfortable for you. It’s on the heavy side so if you’re looking for portability it may not be the chair for you.I set up a blind and hunt for 10-15 days so not a big deal. It’s overall very quiet for bow hunting and I do like the 360° swivel capabilities.I did find the arm rests did clank a little bit. Enough to spook a deer at close range.I put an O ring in between the front armrest and the sliding upright bar. It now is totally silent. The only thing that concerns me is the 4 screws the attach the base to the chair can be easily lost in leaves while assembling the chair at the blind/stand.Overall I think it will be good for long sits with a foam rubber seat.

Great product
I went back and forth trying to decide if this was a four star or a five star product, I finally settled on the fact that it is a five star product with room for improvement. The base is very sturdy, the swivel is smooth and silent, the seating position is comfortable, and the fabric is strong.. The base detaches and secures to the chair via riveted heavy duty Velcro straps. the chair also comes with a removable shoulder strap for carrying. All of these attributes make for a great product. The room for improvement comes in my intended use of the product.. I am using this for seating in a pop-up blind for bow hunting, which brings me to my first wishlist item. I would like it if the chair could be adjusted just a couple of inches lower than the lowest setting. I also carry the chair in and out of the field with me instead of leaving it to the elements which means that i set up and tear down the chair after every day of hunting.. not a major undertaking, but the base secures to the seat with four threaded bolts with knobs on the end. and the process could be made faster and easier with cam style tension pins or a larger more aggressive thread pattern... both very minor details that reflect my personal preferences and do not actually detract from the quality of the actual product as manufactured.

Almost a great swivel chair
I purchased 2 of these (alps stealth chair with arm rests) for a permanent hunting blind. They are a very comfortable chair and I have spent at least 7 continuous hours in one so far. They are sturdy, and the quad legs make them very stable. They are very adjustable and the youth hunters can adjust them so they can see out of the windows easily. Now, here are the areas for improvement. They are a very heavy chair, so I would not want to haul one to and from a hunting spot on a daily basis (unless you have motorized transport to your blind). There is a metallic rattle to the arm rests if you lean against them sideways while you are sitting. I think duct tape would take care of this issue. Sometimes when swiveling, the chair will creak and groan a tad. Not all the time; but, often enough to be cautious when moving. The chair is secured to the base by 4 thumb screws. If you carry this chair, you will be messing with these thumb screws quite a bit, and the possibility exists to loose a screw or two. You can not pull the shaft all of the way out of the base because there is a pop-rivet to prevent this. A 1/4 inch drill bit removes the pop-rivet very easily. The chairs do fold; but even when folded, they take up a lot of room unless you remove the base and legs. With the pop-rivet removed, I am able to fold the chair with the post attached, and the legs are now separate. In my application, this allows me more space to store the extra chair when not in use (when hunting solo). To use the chair, just slide the post into the leg base. This way, I do not have to mess with the thumb screws (especially in low light conditions). They are better than the other chairs that I have tested; and they would be 5 stars if it weren't for the issues addressed above.

Great Chair
I love how adjustable this chair is. I use it in a blind and it's held up great for everyone I've let use it.

Hunting blind chair
I checked out a few different chairs before choosing this Alps chair. While using it on opening day, I was in a spot with uneven ground, having the adjustable legs was a great feature! The swivel was silent and the seat was comfortable. The only issue is mounting the legs to the seat with the four thumb screws and cold fingers. I would highly recommend this chair!

Smaller & heavier than it looks
I bought this chair after already buying one of the Hawk 360 Spin chairs. The chair seems very well made. It is quality, however that makes it fairly heavy. I don't plan to carry it far but it would be nice if it was lighter. My biggest complaint is the size or lack of. As you can see in my pics the Hawk is wider and bigger. I'm only 5'10" and 200 lbs and I don't think I'd be comfortable if I were any larger. I love the adjustable legs and arm rests but the clamps can be tricky to get them to let go of the frame. I also don't care for the design of the arm rests supports. They cut into your thighs if you try to sit with your legs spread much (see side view pic). I love the adjustable legs and seat height design though.Update Nov 4, 2018This chair doesn't creek as much as the Hawk brand chair, but the arm rests are so tingy sounding. Any metallic or hard items on your coat like buttons, zippers etc produce a loud tingy sound when contacting the arm rests. Also, where the arm rests bolt to the outer supports the hole is oversize that it allows for the arm rest to rattle and ting there too. Very annoying and not good for a deer blind setting where you're trying to be quiet. I plan to wrap the arm rests in pipe insulation on my next trip out to the blind and secure tight with electrical tape, this should muffle and deaden the noise.

Nice chair, good purchase. NOT lightweight.
Not cheap, and not lightweight. I keep it in my blind (the benefits of private land). Its very comfortable for many hours of sitting. It easily adjusts to uneven / slanted ground - the four legs can be independently adjusted for height, making it easy to level. Easily rotates side to side, and is mostly very quiet. The armrests are slightly textured so sliding a hand or arm along them creates a sound; I'm going to cover them with camo-tape to eliminate that.Very happy with this, but too heavy to carry around every day, imo.

Seat too short
The frame and swivel system is great but the seat is too short for extended use. (front to back)
