Legal disclaimer | Some features require linking your Amazon account and downloading the Alexa application or using a compatible Alexa device. Internet connection speeds and availability depend on your internet service provider. If your internet service provider does not provide you with the maximum supported speed, you will not experience that maximum speed. Maximum network speeds, if applicable, reflect combined supported speeds across wired and wireless clients. Maximum wireless signal rates are derived from IEEE 802.11 standard. Specifications assume wired Ethernet connection; your experienced speed may vary when connected to an eero device that is configured as a wireless extender. Coverage estimates are based on normal use conditions. Actual range and performance can vary and maximum supported speeds may not be available to all customers due to factors such as local regulations (including power limits), network configuration, interference, connected devices, device usage, building materials and obstructions. Specifications are based on use of a Wi-Fi 6 or later generation client device that supports 160 MHz. For more information about eero performance, visit support.eero.com. Combining eero Pro 6E devices with older generation eero devices on the same network may result in reduced performance across the network. |

Works easily. Quickly and looks really neat
Connection is super easy - replicates signal all over the house. I have a router that I turned the WiFi internally off so that I could benefit from the signal being boosted using the EERO 6+ with the 3 hubs dotted around the house. Easy to setup via the app and clear instructions and guidance throughout the process. I have UltraFast broadband which used to be 850mbps in 2 rooms of the house but shockingly bad (less than 50mbps) everywhere else despite clear line of sight to other rooms. Now I have consistent 400mbps in every corner of the house so am very pleased with the EERO 6+. Named the device the same as my normal Hub and used the same password as existing during setup and that allowed all devices to rejoin the network without having to enter new details on each. Clever tip from another user - thanks.

They just work !!!
Been using eero routers since 2020... Upgraded in late 2024 to the eero 6+ in advance of upgrading broadband to 1 Gbps. They work really well. And i like the fact that they act as a Zigbee hub when coupled with the Alexa App...

Amazon eero 6+ mesh Wi-Fi router | 1.0 Gbps Ether
Swapped this in to replace a patchy ISP router and the difference is night and day. Setup via the app took less than 10 minutes. Coverage across the house is now rock-solid — no dead zones, even through thick Victorian walls.Speeds are consistent, ping is low for gaming, and devices roam between rooms without dropping signal. The eero app is clean and gives full control, including parental filters, bandwidth checks, and firmware updates. If you want mesh Wi-Fi without headaches, this is a brilliant entry point. It just works — and keeps working.

Getting 100Mbps now
It works. Now get 105mbps, where I was getting very low, sometimes dropping signal. And a different extender just didn't work.downsides. Blooming expensive, it only just goes through middle of my flat (2nd mesh in the middle just before signal drops from 100+ to 40), so you might need a few of these. It's a router, without modem, so still need original wifi from NowTV (sky), so lots of electronics running and taking up space.

unstable and frustrating..3 months and 12 months. 16 month update.
Month 6 UpdateAfter each software update which is near fortnightly, the system stops for days on end. After dozens of reboots you get them up and running again, only for a day later for them to fail again. Shocking for an Amazon product. Reddit forums say the same story.Addendum: eero customer support contacted after the review, and gave tips and bottom line is I think I had too many eeros, as they interfere with eachotherMonth 12 updateEvery update which is every other week continues to knock out half the Eeros, the software often hangs and it takes hours to get them back on…3 hours in and still no success. Stuck on circular loops all the time. Completely frustrating. Allow us to opt out of these updates that always fail.Month 16 UpdateHere we go again, but it gets worse. Each new software update which are too frequent makes the system worse. The update process is clunkier than ever, the layout requires constant scrolling as important information is pushed out the way so they show trendy graphics that do nothing. I get out of range errors when the device is either 15 feet away, 10 feet away or next to the gateway eero. All that the same time I get full coverage on my IPad or phone. How is it possible for the eero not to be in range when every device can see the gateway eero?If you have 6 hours a month, every month trying to fix this junk, then you’ll be happy. This is not an installation issue it’s fundamentally flawed, and help desk tries to help, basically they say turn everything off and reinstall everything…well that’s fine if I have the time every month, but even then there’s no guarantee of success.

Woah, gaming, downloads etc all much better!
Was skeptical but wow! I’ve tried so many routers, ones I’ve bought to get better performance, the free ones from various service providers etc latest on is the best one Sky provides with the extra boosters which resulted in….approx 300mb on my mac, 220mb on iPhones, between 500-900mb with LAN, these speed are good on paper but the lag can be annoying when it came to playing games on the PC and PlayStation. The lag was minimal at best and varied up and down. Now the same devices with the eero:Goodness!! It actually does what it promises, we played on 2 devices at the same time (call of duty) no lag at all, flawless, tried other games with the same great result, all devices at least 50% faster down speed and ping latency improved, some devices and mad fast now, my MacBook gets 900mb on WiFi! That’s like near full speed of the fibre through WiFi.There’s the newer eero 7 bit the 6 at a fraction of the cost is great. Best setup for me and easiest is to leave the Sky router connected to the Fibre socket direct then lan from the Sky router to the eero, then in the Sky router settings disable WiFi (it made a difference)
