My teenager wore these to a 5+ hour ball. They went well with his tux and were comfortable all night, even for dancing. The toe is square, but not too square—just enough for comfort and ease of stepping. He liked the style and the comfort. And they were shiny enough for a formal event, but could be worn with regular church clothes. Very functional. The quality seems very good; they show little wear thus far and are keeping their shape, with no deep creases. I highly recommend these for formal wear, suits, or slacks.

I have a wide fore foot and and a long instep. This makes dress shoe shopping challenging. I have been wearing these for 5 weeks 5-6 days a week and they still look nice. Quick tip: Wipe the shoe and side of the souls with a synthetic wash towel soaked in warm water and a little bit of blue dawn, and rinse. That is all they need to clean them if they get dusty or dirty. And what a great price!
