Works well and makes for a nice nightlight

Does its job, I like that the light isn’t just for appearance but is also used to indicate the joy con is fully charged. Easy enough to install just plug and play, the design is compact and doesn’t take up a ton of space. Seems durable enough considering you shouldn’t be roughhousing with it. The color is clear and black with red/green lighting

I've had this little charging station for some time now. A year, I think? Maybe more. It works great. I use it to charge two different sets of JoyCons regularly and have not had any issues with it at all. I keep it plugged into one of the USB-A ports on my Switch. The lights are bright, which I like. They are red when charging, then turn green when fully charged (at least, the one I bought has this color scheme). The JoyCons slide into their respective slots on the charger very easily and stay put during charging. When ready to use, they slide right up without issue. Highly recommended!
