We just moved into our new home and with a four car garage, I was in need of shelving. I ordered several from Costco, the type that hangs from the ceiling and also wall shelving, by the same manufacturer (SafeRacks). I ordered these for the smaller garage and now wish I had them for the remainder. Excellent design, super sturdy and safer that those by SafeRacks. I wholeheartedly endorse these as they are by any stretch far superior in design and safety. Easy to install and simply awesome. Thank you for a great product.

Great quality shelf, sturdy, and easy to hang

Shelf’s are very strong and when I ordered I didn’t expect it to come with great hardware to install! Quality is really good and they look super nice. Only nit picky things one of them had a very small bent corner, the hardware to connect to the brackets had a ton of play so it was annoying to get those small nuts on and lastly the tool that I wasn’t expecting on getting the magnet inside to hold the bolts didn’t work. Once again nit picking these are really great and plan on buying many more!

Ever since Lowe’s stopped selling their Kobalt heavy duty garage shelves I’ve been looking for something to complement those shelves (which were awesome and have stood the test of time).I would argue that these Aexcm shelves are even better constructed than my old Kobalt shelves. I don’t give too many reviews but when I do, it’s for a something that is either very good or a complete waste, this review is clearly the former.The shelves were a bit difficult to get aligned with the wall brackets as the brackets were a little bowed. This was relatively easy to compensate for and got the shelves install nice a square. I saw one review that said these shelves do not fit 16” on center framing. That is not true, all my brackets are screwed into studs, I won’t even think about putting up these beefy shelves using anchors, you’re just asking for trouble.I’ve had them up for a little more than 6 months and they are solid. The first picture I posted has a 65 lbs AGM battery in a cardboard box, a 45 lbs wet cell battery and about 40 lbs of automotive hitch materials - it’s absolutely solid. I’m buying 3 more packs of 2 to replaced some other cheaper garage shelving I have installed..

First of all the packaging was excellent. One box inside another box inside another box with no obvious sign of damage. When I took the shelves out I was surprised to see one of the shelves was bent so I assume it was packed damaged. Also the instructions and template was missing as well which would have been helpful but not a big deal. I had to hammer the dent out which took off a little powder coating but once installed it was hidden from view.The installation of the brackets was fairly simple but I did drill the holes for the lag bolts a little oversized after reading some of the reviews saying that they snapped. Attaching the shelves to the brackets was a little tricky with no instructions. The bolts to attach the shelves to the brackets one would think would go through the top of the shelves to the brackets but they are too short. They fit into a rail on the bottom of the shelves and slide over to the bracket and then bolted together. Once again, instructions would be great. I've read a few reviews talking about these bolts being too short so I'm assuming a few others didn't figure this out.Once installed they are pretty solid. I have about 200 pounds of tools and parts on them with no problems.

I took a chance with this, and regret purchasing this. I bought these in October 2024 but installed it this past weekend. So it is out of my return window. Don't be like me ... install them as soon as you get them.All the metal pieces are flimsy. Both shelves came dented. And they flex very easily. The brackets flex as well. I put empty boxes on one of the shelves. Not quite empty. They are basically monitor boxes with the monitor stands still in the boxes. I originally had them hang slightly over the edge, but I could see the shelve flex. So I had to move it so the box was completely on the shelve.I was lucky that for the most part, I got studs. But in one shelve, the two bottom bolts needed anchors. The anchors are garbage. I had a toggle bolt around for one. The other one I just left it unbolted since I was running out of time and just needed to be done.You will need a socket wrench for this. I tried to user a power drill with a Phillips bit to drive the topmost bolt. The metal is soft and it stripped. The positioning of the holes make it difficult to use anything else but a socket wrench. If you have a socket wrench screwdriver, use that for the smaller hex bolts used to fasten the shelve to the brackets. Otherwise you'll struggle with the small wrench the provide you.I'd skip this one.

I read the other reviews and took a chance. The product was fine and the instructions were included. The price could have been cheaper but I had no problems with the product and the installation. I would recommend it for looks. No complaints.

Worked great! I have them in 4’ and 3’ variants and they hold plenty of weight. Bought specifically for the HDX 27gal totes and they look really sharp together.
