Q: What is the best way to remove them from a hook? It took forever for my and my husband to remove one on a 5.5 hook. Thought about soaking it in water

Once you get it on..it's almost impossible to get off! I make my husband do it. So..I have no good answer. I thought about water too but with my luck , it would puff up and get tighter.

U will receive 2 but once u insert hook its difficult to get it off. May need to try inserting liquid soap and u will need someone with a strong grip to insert or pull out

Q: How do you get it to actually fot the 5.5 hook like ot says? No mater how much i wiggle it, turn, and push, and curse it won't work.

Drop liquid soap into it.hold onto the hook with paper towels. You will have a bit of a struggle but it will go in. Good luck

Q: Do these work with the Boye metal hooks?

Sure. They would work on any brand regular style hook. Its like sliding a cushion grip onto a pencil except it takes a little more force to get them on. But once you get them on, they don't move.
