This device was easy to connect to my phone. It ran a full scan on my 2014 Silverado pretty quickly and confirmed the check engine light alerts as well as other alerts that I had the app will also give you some recommendations on what it could be I think to look into my favorite feature was the. To live data where you can customize the tiles to provide information that you want it greatly help me troubleshoot my truck. It was very easy to change the insights to whatever you tiles you want. It does have a feature where you can select the part that you need and it takes you to Amazon where you can look up the product. I thought that was neat overall great product easy to use provide provides very great insights.

The app is easy to use and free. It connects automatically without having to find the scanner in your Bluetooth settings. Obviously it can scan a check engine light. It is able to read and clear abs codes. It can also read airbag codes, as pictured. Although it let me clear the airbag codes on the app, they did not clear off my dashboard. I’m fairly new to this app so I may be overlooking something, but regardless this is not a huge deal to me.

I have been using this obd2 scanner for almost a year, and I could not be happier about its function and quality. I use it to check my car, my family’s cars, and even my neighbor's car, and it always works perfectly. It not only reads the error codes but also deletes them, and this is a great function because not all scanners can delete codes. My favorite feature is the whole system scan, it scans everything and helps you understand the complete health conditions of your vehicle, including engine, ABS, SRS, transmission, etc. If there is an error code, the App will tell you the code definition, layman’s definition, and effect on the vehicle, so even people who don’t have car knowledge can understand. My neighbor told me that the repair shop charged him $120 for just scanning his car, and this scanner is only $70, and I can use it to scan an unlimited number of cars, so it saves me a lot of money. Sometimes I do a whole system scan even when there is no issue, just to make sure everything is right.Another good thing about the product is that the companion App RS2 is free, no subscription fee. I saw some reviews here saying that they have to pay for the App, I don’t think that is true because I have never been charged.The scanner can also help you prepare for the SMOG test. If your car is older than 10 years, like mine, the DMV will ask you to do a SMOG test every 2 years. The scanner has 3 color lights on the App, and if you see a green, that means you can pass the SMOG, and if you see yellow or red, that means your car will not pass SMOG check and the App will tell you what repair is needed to pass the test, and this is very convenient.The scanner has a lot of functions and provides more information than I share, and you can explore it yourself, it is fun. I will recommend this product to every car owner.

I do like this very much, but I also gotta take a start away for performance. This thing has every reader ability you could ask for, but there's also a few pet peeves. First off, you can't use this thing while moving without a little crap to see the stuff you should be able to see while moving - i.e. Speed Sensors, coolant temp, Engine Load, O2 sensor, Fuel trim, etc. Second, no matter what you do, it has to download every time whatever vehicle you connect to, even if it's the same one. I could understand different cars, but once it does it for a car once, it should be good. The third and last i'll get into here, the pairing. The pairing on this model is horrible. I don't keep location on with my phone(battery saver here) and it requires it for some reason. Then it takes its whole 5 minute routine to pair, which doesn't sound bad until you're the one doing it. Sometimes it won't pair, and you'll have to keep hitting retry til it does. If you can live with all that, then this thing is what you need. It has every readability for any sensor on your vehicle. I have cleared Check Engine codes, ABS codes(with the ability to see and fix the issue), TPMS, and Airbag. This is a nice unit if you can get past the qwerks.
