Useless waste of money
It’s just useless piece. ... when I put the spatula while cooking the things start running out . The handle piece should be longer

Good value and great quality
Heavy and sturdy marble. Beautiful green colour, perfect for the kitchen fit for its purpose.

Don't drop it on your foot
When they warn this is heavy, they are not kidding. This weighs in at just under half a kilo, so you want to make sure no one is playing about with it or leaves it close to an edge where it may fall on your foot or hot a child or pet as it could be quite dangerous. Having said that, it accomodates a soup ladle or large slotted serving spoon quite well as well as my wooden cooking spoons. It made of marble, which stains, so before using it, I wiped its surface with coconut oil and after use, cleaned it with a lint-free cloth of the same. It looks great on my counter, too. Close inspection shows that while it feels smooth, it was handmade as there are little tell-tale signs. It's made in India and given the handcrafted aspect and the price, I hope it was made where there are safe working conditions and a living wage for the area. I have a fairly good feeling that it was, as Kitchen Craft's own website refers to itself as "ethical" with "feel good choices". I also found it interesting that Kitchen Craft is still run in the UK by the founder's great grandson's, having been founded in 1850 by Thomas Plant. So, if you like supporting British-owned and/or family-owned businesses, this may might also be of some interest to you.

Nice, but don't drop it
This isn't really a colour that suits my kitchen, but regardless it's a nice carved piece of marble stone that accommodates the head and upper stem of almost any cooking utensil with ease. It's certainly weighty and you wouldn't want to drop it, but the weight means it's unlikely to budge on the counter and that's really reassuring when it comes to possible splashes from utensil drops. There's also a curved ridge around it so there won't be leaks onto the worktop.

Proper Big Spoon Rest
I ordered this spoon rest because my kitchen is green, and as I live in an old-style house I thought it would work with the original features (Victorian style doors etc)It's a very big spoon rest, suitable for a ladle and a couple of little spoons too - so a whole meal's worth.I think it could possibly stain, so I will prime it first with several layers of almond oil.At present, no problems at all. I wouldn't myself call it elegant - but natural, and useful, and made by a proper craftsman somewhere.

It's not my colour but it's good!
Okay, this doesn't match with our kitchen, but never mind, I need a spoon rest. It comes packaged in a cardboard box and wrapped thoroughly with tissue paper and bubblewrap - once that's unwrapped you'll find the spoon rest. It's green marble, again it's a bit oldy-worldy and I'm not 100% keen, but having said that it does the job. It's pleasantly weighty and wipe clean, and it keeps my spoons safe. What more could you want?!

Very attractive and practical spoon holder
This is a satisfyingly weighty and undeniably attractive spoon holder. The green marble has a sensual soapy feel to it, with comfortably rounded edges and a beautiful rippled finish.
