ScottsWizz Hand-Held Spreader

Bought this to replace a rotary spreader which was past its best. At first, I was a little dubious that the spreader was up to the test but it has worked a treat. Very even spread, easy to control and apply. I would recommend.

This spreads everything, seeds, dried weed killer, its fantastic, if your looking to spread peanut butter this won't do it... but anything for the garden... Brilliant.

Works nicely and does the job. But as all the other similar spreaders, a portion of whatever you are spreading is trapped in the spreading chamber and when you slightly tip the spreader over, all of the trapped content will drop into your current location creating a pile. I believe Gardena's manual hand spreader solves this by having an open chamber. To mitigate this problem I stop and collect the contents in the lower chamber into my palm and return them into the main chamber from time to time.

It does what it says on the box and makes seeding much easier.

Perfect spreader for small to medium gardens. i use it for lawn seed and fertilizer and it hasn't let me down yet.

I’ve had this product for 1 month fed about 5 gardens with it and it’s broke on me already. Would not buy again.

this is actually good :) saves a lot of time and effort. i like it very much

Used this to spread iron sulphate on my field to kill moss. Saved so much time! Then 2 weeks later I used it to spread grass seed on said field. Easy to use and works a treat. Keep a spare set of batteries as it used them fast.
