This was a replacement for an old handle I abused to death. I do not take very good care of my garden tools. I am very neglectful. When I stumble into the house for a drink of water...I may not get back to my gardening for a week or more. When I'm done...I'm done! That means my tools get left in the sun and dirt. They get rained on and the nooks and crannies get filled with mud. That is what happened to my last handle...I had to whallop the heck out of it to retrieve the little shovel end to put on a different handle...because it was packed with claycrete that had baked in the sun for months. So, if you take care of your tools...these will probably last forever. If you are abusive and neglectful....you might only get a decade or two out of them. I'm adding even more tools to my collection...and highly recommend them!

I have used Wolf-Garten tools for nearly 30 years now and they are lightweight and dependable. Whenever there is a need for a rake, hoe, fork, etc., I reach for my Wolf - still like new after all these years. No need to haul a lot of heavy handles to the garden - one handle - several heads makes gardening a breeze. The various heads snap in and have never failed. Space saving, too. I need more stars to rate them fairly.

I have the long handle, and wanted to try this short handle. It is excellent: sturdy, not too short, comfortable in the hand, easy to use. I have 4 different attachments and I plan to get more to go with this.

too short for me

This is a hand tool handle. It does not lengthen to full standing up position. It works well with the tiller I purchased. So far so good. This is not a heavy duty handle, so far no complaints. Thank you

I'll admit I am a little biased. I have been using the Wolf Garten garden tools for years and love them. I also have the long handle which has lasted me for the last ten years. This short handle is the same construction as the long handle and I'm sure it will last me just as long. Both the long and short handles are very light weight and easy to work with.

The handle fits perfectly to the garden fork part of the same brand. I look forward to using this in gardening - it is so STRONG and won't bend like other digging forks I have bought.
