Barbie Clothes Age 3+, Doll Fashion Pack with 13 Pieces of Clothing, 8 Accessories and 8 Pairs of Shoes for 65+ Unique Looks, HRG56

After lots of hesitation I am really pleasantly surprised.It has been a slog finding good Barbie clothes lately. I am used to oversized 'universal sizes' and sets with 1-3 good outfits and the rest being sack-dresses, but not here!All the pieces are usable, fashionable clothing, and the quality isn't too bad. They actually look better in person.Just be aware! - While the description says they are universal size, some outfits are clearly meant for a certain body. The checkered picnic dress and black/purple layered dress fit best on Curve Barbie (as shown), while the rest is form fitting on Classic Barbie.This is actually a BIG PLUS for me because I need some clothes for my Curve Barbies, but don't have to sacrifice the fit on most Barbies. The result is that all outfits look flattering on the right body. BUT if you don't own a Curve Barbie, this may be disappointing to find out.Another thing to know is that the pink pumps ONLY fit Curve Barbie, they are too big for regular Barbie (see photos). Strangely, the outfit they go with fits a regular Barbie more. Meanwhile, the purple trainers paired with the Purple/Black dress for Curve Barbie DO NOT fit Curve Barbie - WEIRD. But not a big problem since you can mix-and-match.On the theme of outfits not matching, I do not think the pink leather jacket and pink dress go together AT ALL - but they are both nice on their own.Another issue (maybe only with my lot) is that the black sunglasses would not fit and kept springing off, from the looks of it, the glasses' temples are bent on one side - factory error?One final good thing is that the Curve black dress is also nice and classy on its own, without the purple layer.I also completely forgot to include 3 accessories in my pictures - but rest assured they were all there as advertised.Despite the minor hiccups, I really love these clothes, so it would feel wrong to give less than 5 stars.

The above photo shows Barbies and princess dolls who’ve all swapped clothes and had a glow up courtesy of my granddaughter!These outfits are well made and good quality.A bit expensive but worth it as some cheaper ones have not lasted long.

Not worth it there are better quality more detailed, fashionable products on Temu despite not being “official”. 3 stars only because I got it for sale otherwise would not recommend.The biggest disappointment for me was the hot pink holographic “leather” vest. It’s actually made from a fabric closer to paper/card than textile so basically an Easter egg packaging it’s stiff and leaves a permanent crease when folded. This piece had the potential to be so badass it’s a shame.The pink “bow” on the black dress is far from a bow it’s again made from a paper fabric that’s cut into an elephant ear shape…The jeans is not made from jeans fabric. It’s a stretchy fabric with a jeans texture printed on it which looks fine but could have been so much more.The daisy dress is without a doubt the highlight of this pack and it’s only redeeming item. It’s very well made with even some tulle on the bust a pleasant surprise love this kind of attention to detail! There were maybe another 3 items that get a pass…Likewise I really appreciate the Velcro protection added to the tennis top to prevent damage to the rest of the clothes.Speaking of Velcro most of the pieces do not have Velcro and therefore do not open. Instead they are made from stretchy material and put on like a glove.In terms of accessories I like the pink sandals very glad this one is made from hard plastic which means it is sturdy! We already have this design in light blue from a small fashion pack but it’s very soft plastic which caused it to become distorted and easily rip. Only wish the mold detailing was a little neater. I also like the lilac purse for the opposite reason. This one is made from a rubber/ soft plastic (not too soft) so it won’t snap and has movement when playing.Last but not least the packaging is very cute. Items are separate into 4 sleeves with a Barbie diagram printed on. Will be laminating them for some cute bookmarks :)Overall it is sad to see how Barbie’s standards have fallen. This level of quality in the 90s or early 2000s would be expected from a cheap knock off or fake doll not an official product. It is because I experienced the true beauty of Barbie as a kid that I cannot give this to my child.
