Got an old Hobart welder with a Briggs and Stratton engine. Rings were gone so I tore it down and replaced the rings and did a valve job and used this carb to replace the old one. Fired the first pull of the rope and runs like a new one. By the way, this welder was made in 1998. Was and am delighted!

Good replacement for under $30.00
Great replacement for my 1450 Intek by Briggs & Stratton. Bolted right up. It comes with a new governor arm and spring w/ various choke levers, as well, that you can swap out and (2) new gaskets. Very pleased for a little over $20.

My local small engine shop wanted almost double what I paid here. The part fit and it worked. Now, the log splitter works! We now await the rebuild kits.

Fit fine, and works fine
Put this on a 10HP Briggs & Stratton engine on a generator. It is not OEM, but it bolts on, started up, and runs fine. Got a useless generator working again. Just examine your original carburetor for similar mounting characteristics - that's all I did.

Carburetor is a knock-off of Nikki original. If you don't want to spend a lot of money for a carburetor for an older engine, this does the job well.
