These grates were a perfect fit for my Weber Genesis Silver from 2001! They cooked much hotter than the old cast iron ones that finally rusted thru. These new grates are easy to clean & cook well! After cleaning underside of grill hood, replacing worn flavorizer bars, & adding new grates, we have a grill that’ll last another 20+ yrs.The grates were reasonably priced & delivered quickly. I’m very satisfied with their sturdiness & perfect for!

Got these grates the other day for a S-435 from Costco. They fit perfectly and look very attractive (at least to me). Compared to the stock grates, these are substantially heavier. I got these because I use my grill as a pizza oven with pizza steels, which are quite heavy. I was worried that using 2 steels which are .31" thick (which I think could weigh 25lbs each) could bend the stock grates. After I installed these, I would say it would be impossible for these steels to bend these grates. I think there is also a picture from another purchaser who showed that the grates didn't have a slight extension on the end to evenly space the grates. I was curious as to what impact that this might have, and I don't think this would make any difference whatsoever. When you install all 3 grates, the maximum space between the grates is even smaller than the spacing of the existing slats. It just that if 2 grates are completely pushed together and the other two grates are maximally spaced, the gap is still smaller than the slats on the main grate. These appear to be high quality and should last as long as the grill.

Fits perfectly for my 10-year-old Weber grill. So far they are working great. I hope they last as long as the originals which was 10 years. Would have given them a five but they are not Square. The instructions tell you how to square them but I did not have to as they both fit perfectly on the grill.

My ceramic grates from Genesis were nasty and falling apart. Couldn’t really be cleaned anymore. These grills are heavy, high quality and super simple to install. Thick = strong and high quality. Cleaning stainless steel is easy too. These will last a really long time. They aren’t cheap but totally worth the expense to make your BBQ great. They get hot quickly and food doesn’t stick on them, just remember to oil up and clean on first use.

I have only used once so far but they are substantial. They weigh as much as the rusty original Weber cast grates and these being stainless will be easy to clean.

Heavy duty stainless steel, fits nicely into my two burner Weber natgas outdoor grill. Now I have stainless burner tube, stainless steel flavor bars and stainless steel grates. No more rusty parts. I expect many more years of service from my Weber grill.
