I chose this kit firstly because it was on sale. The price was so good for what I had brought. The salons cheapest for gel nails are from £25 and I have made my money by using it once.I have used the kit and it works brilliantly.You do need to have time and patience to do this as it does take time but worth the results. Make sure you use small layers each time to get better results.It came with everything advertised.The colours in this kit are perfect and the glitter is nice and thick so cannot see nail underneath.Nothing negative to say. The product arrived earlier than it said it would too.

This only just arrived today so I guess the real test as to how great it is, will be how long this evening's manicure lasts... But I have to say, on first impression... I am very very pleased.You get loads of tools for your nail prep and finish as well as a good selection of varnishes. The products all seem great quality and the nail varnish itself goes on smoothly and easily. It is thicker than a normal nail varnish but you would expect that to be the case, just take your time and apply thin coats (I did 2) and you'll be really pleased with the result.It does take longer than the 30-60 second cure time it suggests... I'd say maybe more 2.5 mins each round, but still, no time at all.I bought this as I love having my nails done and as awesome as my nail girl is, I just can't afford to keep going to her. If I try and do my nails with just normal varnish I end up smudging it within minutes and they look awful. This little set, so far, seems to be the perfect compromise for me.I'll come back with an edit on longevity

My nail tech is away before my holiday so bought this on a whim knowing that this is less than getting just my toes done. For the price this is a good. The colours seem ok there maybe are better gel colour brands but for the price and being a beginner I think this is a great buy the lamp is ok it cured the nails on 90 seconds. I seen someones peeling but I made sure I buffed the nail bed to make sure the base coat clings and have no natural nail ridges and they seem as secure as when my nail tech does them. Think just the practice will help on the finish! Will be saving loads worth a try but you do need patience and practice.

Having read the reviews and looking at the pictures, I was 50/50 and then I thought for the price and being one of Amazon's Choice products. I went ahead and purchased.I normally put nail varnish on my nails, which as we know doesn't last as long. Many years ago I used to go to the salon and have acrylics.This kit is nicely packaged, lots of items in the delivery, all perfect nothing missing and no leaking bottles.I'm no professional at this type of stuff, but I followed the simple instructions and put on a thin layer of each polish on. Curing took two rounds of 60 seconds after each application.I am really pleased with the results and would highly recommend. Please see images.No problems whatsoever and so easy to use, no fuss or mess. This product is a great buy and I would definitely recommend :-)

Used this within 2 days of receiving the gel polish it’s been on my nails for 10 days and still looks as good as new so definitely good value. Had this 6 months now I used it once every 3/4 weeks tried using it today and the led lights are not working so is now useless

I had high hopes for this product from reading some of the reviews but unfortunately am returning this the same day it has been delivered.When opening the product, I knew it wasn’t up to scratch when looking at the OPI Cuticle Revitalizer Oil. The product description (I have included a picture) on the back doesn’t make sense and reads ‘This noturol revitalizing comtlex blend of Peacn extract, mango extract, peach mango and vitaminstonourish, moisturizocuticle oil pen and protect the cuticles andnails’. The package looks a little home made and some of the items even looked used.When doing my nails, I followed the instructions in the User Manual that comes with the product (I.e. apply base coat and then cure under nail lamp for 30-60seconds). I did not apply a thick layer of the base coat however, my nails were still tacky after 60seconds. I then tried another 2 times but they were still wet and it seems the lamp did not dry them at all.I have done my own gel nails for sometime now and knew this wasn’t right so I did not even try to attempt to apply a colour on them.Do not buy this product- poor experience all around!

I've been mulling over the idea of buying a kit for a few years. Go for a gel manicure a couple of times a year for a treat and love it, so when I had to cancel my long awaited Christmas manicure due to covid risks I was gutted and decided to spend the money on this instead. I am just so impressed that absolutely everything needed was included and nothing struck me as inferior for being so cheap - even the files were better than ones I've used at home before. Nice touches, nice selection of colours and sparkles for a starter kit. I've gone for the dark pink with glitter accent and look forward to using the French manicure and classic black in the future. Feeling like a pro with my flawless nails and it was enjoyable to do as well.

During pandemic have started doing my nails and I was quite happy with the quality of the set. Later on, I have tested other sets, more expensive ones and, as opposed to the LM one, I have developed UV and acrylate allergies and dermatitis around nail beds. These have never happened with LagunaMoon therefore returning to them and sticking with them.
