It seems pretty durable.It's easy to use -- because it's just a hammer -- and you can throw it in the dishwasher between uses.It's got a nice matte finish, and the silver-and-black look works with my kitchen decor. I always wanted one of these. I want to make cutlets. this will do that and tenderize meat. makes a big difference in the way the food is prepared. then it's good to eat. I'm hoping no more tough anything. I think I've got this. good brand name and it's good quality. this is a good one.

This is a great quality meat tenderizer/multi-use kitchen tool. It is heavy weight which I like. It's sturdy and simply designed which makes it simple to use and clean. And, the price is right! I would recommend it.

I just wanted a new mallet for my kitchen. This one is nice, however, not as heavy as my old one, thus, 4 stars. It seams well made, and a good value for the money. The only reason I got a new one is because my old one was washed in the diswasher and it became discolored. I just wish this one was a little bit heavier.

Bigger than expected but well balanced so you can really drop the hammer on chicken, nuts or a poorly placed finger with ease. Clean up is easy - removing all evidence of its last task. Yeah, it’s a keeper

I had a much cheaper and poor quality one before, but this is perfect ! Great weight to it and I appreciate that it is double sided; one to tenderize meat and the other side to pound chicken and make it thinner.

I actually bought this because the ice in my freezer always gets really blocked up. I needed something to bust it up. This is it! It's working wonderfully, I just give it a few taps and I’m good to go.Now I can have tiny ice and chicken cutlets. Win, win!!
