TECKNET Mouse
I'd always used the same brand mouse until I chose the Tecknet. Initially, I was very frustrated with it because it kept "dying" (I thought). I changed out the batteries even though they were new, and it still kept "dying". So, I decided to go back and re-read the pamphlet. I realized that it has a power saving function, and I needed to press that DPI switch to power it up. It was very confusing at first but since I was made aware of how it works, I'm very pleased with it thus far. The only future question I would have, is since it blinks "red" when I press the DPI button, how is that different from when it blinks red when the battery needs to be changed. I guess the answer will be when the DPI button no longer powers it up. Hope this helps.

Very good, inexpensive wireless mouse that does not include batteries.
I needed an additional mouse because I added a new GMKTec K10 mini computer from Amazon to add to my computer collection. The Technet mouse took about 10 minutes to get it up and running. I added two rechargeable Amazon AAA batteries (batteries are NOT included). I followed the supplied directions to pair the usb dongle with the mouse, and it works the way a mouse should work. This mouse (unlike my other mice) has a low battery indicator. The rubber scroller (found on most mice these days) is easy to operate. Overall, I don't know what more one could ask for in a electro-optical mouse. The mouse has adjustable dpi settings. Mice generally last for about 5 years unless eaten by a naughty Malinois.

The Unsung Hero of My Desk! 🌟
If my desk were a kingdom, the TECKNET Wireless Mouse would be the silent ruler—modest in appearance, mighty in function, and always there when I need it most. After going through a graveyard of over-promising, under-delivering mice, I was about ready to surrender to the overpriced big brands. Then TECKNET came along, humble and unassuming, like a friend who doesn’t talk much but always shows up to help move your couch. And let me tell you—it moved the couch.✅ Precision & Comfort:From spreadsheets to Photoshop, this mouse glides smoother than my morning coffee. The ergonomic design fits like it was sculpted for my hand specifically, which I appreciate after 8+ hour workdays. It’s light, but not flimsy—just right.✅ Battery Life That Defies Time:I popped in a battery three months ago. It’s still going. Either this thing is solar-powered by sheer work ethic or TECKNET discovered the secret to infinite energy.✅ Plug & Play Simplicity:No drivers. No drama. I plugged in the tiny USB receiver, and within two seconds, it was scrolling like it had lived here forever.✅ Sleep Mode Magic:When I step away, it naps. When I come back, it’s instantly awake—like a loyal digital retriever waiting at the door.🧠 Smart Design Touches:DPI button is a chef’s kiss for switching tasksThe click is quiet but satisfyingWorks perfectly on everything from glossy wood to a travel backpack🌍 The Verdict:If you want a wireless mouse that shows up every day, doesn’t ask for much, and just works like a seasoned professional, this is it. It’s not flashy—but neither is reliability. And in a world full of bells and whistles, sometimes what you really need is a tool that just works.

Responsive company! Review updated.
I'm updating this review from one to four stars. When the company saw my original review, below, they reached out to me promptly, asked what they could do to make it right (refund, replace, whatever I wanted) and then followed through with a replacement mouse. The replacement works great. Well done!(Original review)Well, I didn't unpack it and use it soon enough to try and return it. My bad, I guess, but I really didn't expect it to be so undependable. New batteries, turn it on, doesn't work. Open it up, jiggle the batteries around, and it worked for a while, and then stopped again. Tried different batteries (yes, they are seated properly) but the problem persists - wiggle the batteries around and it'll work for a bit, and then not. So I swapped it out for my old Amazon Basics mouse.

excellent low price option
this is a replacement for the first one I bought that lasted 6-7 years of daily use for work. This has to be one of the cheapest and yet most useful items I have ever bought. This second one has been on use for at least several months now and it seems to be just as good as the first one. We go through tons of mice ( all varieties) at the office and the longest I have seen others last is about a year. Highly recommend trying this since they are very reasonably priced.

Reliable, Comfortable, and Long-Lasting — A Solid Upgrade
I recently purchased a rechargeable wireless mouse for my new laptop, but the battery has given me trouble almost immediately. Since I’ve already been using a Tecknet mouse on my desktop and had a good experience, I decided to stick with what I know — and I’m glad I did. This mouse is extremely comfortable to hold. The shape fits naturally, and even after hours of use, there's no wrist fatigue. I really like the adjustable DPI — I use higher sensitivity when editing and lower for general browsing, and switching between levels is seamless. The battery life was also a big selling point. Tecknet claims up to 24 months, and if it's anything like my last one, I believe it. I don't want to be constantly charging or swapping batteries, so this is a huge plus. For the price, this mouse delivers exactly what I needed — reliability, comfort, and zero hassle. Great pick for anyone needing a dependable wireless mouse that just works.

Thumbs be up
What you see is what you get. I've had this for a long time now, and bought a backup. I like the color, the sleek design and how it works with the little plug into the side of your laptop to connect with the mouse. Good stuff. What more can I say y'know? Thumbs up
