Thought you would try and save some money in the showroom? No, I don't need to spend an extra 2 grand for power steering you stood there and said to yourself. Now there you are stuck in a rut with trees all around you and your sawing away at the steering wheel which suddenly weighs much more than it did on the showroom floor as you attempt to maneuver your self out.This unit here is the fix for your buyers remorse and will make driving for more than a few hours actually bearable.Biggest complaint was in the instructions were it plainly just said "remove so and so parts" but did not say in any way how such as the steering wheel. As it turns out you can the install without removing the steering wheel at all. I found this out after drilling two holes in the back of my steering wheel so I could use a steering wheel puller on it to free it from the shaft.Best tip I have for removing the stock steering column shaft from the wrack is to go in from the passenger side to get at the bolt and have another person on hand to get the other side of the bolt.

One of the best upgrades I have made to my Commander. It took about 2 hours to install. Decent instructions. No splicing into the OEM harness either. Crazy easy steering now.

Only took a couple of hours with 2 people. Working great! Well worth the money.

Good product, and price. No real directions. Worked out great just a little time consuming without full directions!

The instructions was the best I have ever seen. This thing changed my steering 100 percent!!! Recommend this to anyone!!!

The electrical connections are weathered sealed but do need dielectric grease in them the power wires need to be a little longer the mounting plates are drilled to where you have enough room to move them around for clearance the steering shafts are the right lengths the sleeves on them don’t have enough clearance to put the bolts though especially on the rack and pinion connection they need to be made to where they line up with the grove on the splines on on the rack an pinion the bolts are of poor quality I changed most of mine out for grade 8 maybe over kill but it is your steering the directions are poor at best they give bad pictures and nothing on how to remove the steering wheel or that you need to set the tires to center so you can get the steering wheel lined back up with them
