Best chorizo!
I love this chorizo and since moving away from the Chicago area I haven't been able to buy it. So happy I found it!

Great Flavor
We have used the original flavor for 10 years or more. It goes great in chili, refried beans, nachos, really any mexican or spanish dish.

Disappointing
I grew up on this in Chicago. Sadly the quality imho is gone. Yes, I chose to pay the ridiculous cost because I was craving my hometown brand and taste. Well, I am so sorry I did! This was a costly error on my part. The packages are smaller and the amount of fat balls are gross. Go with the other Chicago brand, way better quality! However, that other brand is no longer sold on Amazon. :-(

Perfect chorizo
This chorizo is perfectly balanced with vinegar and spices. Not hot but just right. And the meat is ground just right as it cooks up tender and is not too oily. Our grocery store stopped carrying it and their replacement is not good. I highly recommend this brand. Wish they offered it in 6-packs instead of 12 which is just too many for lots of reasons.
