Butler Foods, Soy Curls, 8 Ounce (pack of 2)

I ordered some of these a while back and was really nervous about cooking them. I followed the product instructions and did up a batch with barbecue sauce. I was impressed. The texture is VERY similar to chicken. I was even more pleased when I soaked them for twice as long and squeezed out the liquid (as recommended on a vegan website) before cooking. This improved the results 100%. I am in love with this product!

Excellent for my soup

Love these! Been a vegan for ten years and a vegetarian before that for fifteen—somehow these weren’t on my radar. So glad to have run into a recipe on social media because these are tasty! I like to rehydrate them in Better than Bouillon, sauté them, then drown in Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce. Love stumbling across easy go-to meals.

It's so easy to prepare. Taste good when mixed with any vegetable and sauce. I need extra protein but hate to cook so this is perfect for me.

Only soy curls I buy! They are great!

I like the short time this product needs to soak before using.. only 10 min. The texture is good and abosrbs the flavor of spices well. I also like to eat it raw with a bit of nurtrional yeast. My only issue is I get about 5% of powder at the bottom where the product was crushed or it comes from the manufacturing process. Either way it is unusable, but it goes towards it's total weight. If this did not happend I would have given 5 stars

Absolutely delicious!

New to this type of soy product, and now it's a go-to for meatless carnitas and in stir-fry. Prefer this texture over tofu. I'll keep ordering and finding more recipes!
