IMUSA Stainless Steel Panini Press Electric with Adjustable Temperature Settings and Nonstick Plates, 1200W

Initially this was just purchased to make toasted sandwiches but the product is fantastic! Lightweight and not bulky to handle, and heats up at a super speed! Apart from making a variety of toasted sandwiches, I made a hamburger patty on it (great cooking both sides!) , as well as fried eggs, and an omelette! Easy cleanup, just wipe and go! And the raised/beveled edges make all the difference. Worth every penny and highly recommended ... especially for a one or two member family.

Small but very versatile panini press. I have been using it for about a year now. Easy to store it anywhere in kitchen. Doesn’t take much space. Heats up quickly. Knob for setting various heat levels is very useful to control temperature. Highly recommended.

I bought this 9 months ago. I'm a die hard cast iron pan fan, but I find myself using the sandwich press consistently and frequently for grilled cheese and even things like frying up my leftover pierogi! The learning curve is much quicker than cast iron and the cleanup is easier. It's also great for my kids to use to make quick snacks after school without needing to use the stove unsupervised.It's big enough to make two grilled cheese sandwiches at the same time with your typical size loaf of bread.The non-stick surface works extremely well and very little oil is needed if any. You can see butter on the grill in my picture, but that's there because I like the taste of butter. Clean up is a breeze, we just wipe it down with a paper towel everything comes off, including any cheese that drips.Put this in your cart and buy it!

If using typical size, regular bread, this will do two sandwiches. The controls are easy and the heat from both plates is pretty uniform. The nonstick surface makes clean up easy, wipe it off with a wet paper towel.The problem I have with it, and the reason for the rating, is even though the top plate is technically floating, the Grill will crush the bread, especially from the rear side of the unit, since it’s closest to the hinge. Maybe it is better with a more dense bread. Other than that it goes well and comes in a very reasonable price.

Its makes great sandwiches. Four at a time if needed, or just one. It’s pretty quick too. Only thing I don't like is there is no on off switch so you have to unplug to turn it off and on.

Consistently great results. Just be sure to follow the directions to prevent any problems.

I just did Parmesan cheese oval fries. Soft inside and crispy outside. Took 20 min. In the oven it takes 45 minand no big oven to clean.Very economical too.The clean up was fast and easy. The only thing that would make this the perfect press, would be having the plates removal. But then the price would go up.Makes excellent toast too.
