Does seem to repel Rabbits- Does seem to damage Petunias- Get the 40oz Concentrate.
Update: This stuff seems to be working so well I just bought a gallon size of the concentrate. I should have bought it from the beginning. I have been spraying it nightly just because im paranoid about my plants being eaten. I mix it up a little lighter than the directions say to get a little more coverage and it seems to be working great. Since using this product I have seen a few rabbits around but nothing like before and they are leaving my flowers alone for the most part. Yesterday I went out and I did catch a rabbit hiding in a corner under a sunflower plant and it had a leaf in its mouth it was munching on. My sunflowers are still small around 2 feet tall and it had nibbled off a lower leaf. It quickly ran off into a neighbors yard where it met with another rabbit. I watched them as they started eating the grass over there. Sure enough i noticed them starting to make there way over my yard again. I got out my sprayer that has it mixed up already and turned the nozzle to spray a long stream and I was able to reach them with it and they quickly ran off.I still dont spray my petunia flowers directly since it does seem to stain the flowers, even overspray will make them look spotted. Instead I spray a large area of the grass all around the plants and it seems to work. I have a small wildflower garden that I fenced off with chicken wire to keep the rabbits out and I noticed they will stand up and eat whatever they can reach so i now spray the ground all around the garden and that seems to work, I hardly notice any flowers eaten. The spray doesnt seem to really effect the wild flowers, ill stand back and give the outer ones a quick overspray and havent noticed any negative effects. If you have a lot of flowers then get the gallon size concentrate because you will probably go thru the smaller sizes quick. I mix around 8oz per gallon of water in my pump sprayer. There seems to be a colony of cottontail rabbits running around my neighborhood and they love eating all the flowers I plant around the yard. i have put up a fence made of chicken wire around one of my flower gardens but I also have nice Wave petunia plants scattered around where fencing wont really look good. Last year I tried spraying scorpion hot sauce on the plants and it did work great at stopping the rabbits from devouring them, they would still nibble but the hot sauce must get to them quick and they leave the plant alone. I would have to spray the plants often as they grew and especially after it rained . It was getting expensive going thru so much hot sauce even when I mixed it with water. There must be dozens of them running around and im seeing small babies all the time so they are reproducing like crazy. I like rabbits and think they are nice to see, I just dont want my flowers ruined.I tried a ready to spray 32oz bottle of this stuff and it does seem to keep the rabbits away. Since I have been using it I have only noticed 1 flower bud half eaten. Unfortunately this spray does seem to damage the petunias, the leaves and flowers seemed to discolor or burn when sprayed directly on them. Now I just spray the surrounding area and it seems to work also.I went thru the 32oz ready to spray bottle so I just bought the 40oz concentrate which seems like a much better deal. using it per the directions the 40oz bottle of concentrate will make over 12 of the 32oz spray bottles. That comes out to around $2.50/32oz bottle. The only thing is the concentrate smells very bad, I find it disgusting and have to hold my breath when mixing it.

Saved my garden
At the point I tried this, I was trying everything to get my garden back. Groundhog and deer had left me barely anything of the once proud perennials I had. Between a real perimeter fence and liquid fence, I now watch the growing herd from beyond my fence, while applying this once a month on that perimeter and on their very favourite plants, like hostas. This is the only real and final solution; everything else is non sustainable. One bottle has lasted me two seasons.PS this may keep pests away that tend to sniff around chicken coops; I wouldn't guarantee it without more data, but there seems to be a correlation so far.

It Works!
I’ve purchased this product twice, both last year and this. This year, I had a problem with delivery as the wrapping on the bottle was torn and the liquid leaked out in the box. As such, I didn’t feel comfortable using it and really couldn’t see how I could return it. I notified Amazon and they promptly sent a replacement, no charge. The product I received last year worked very well keeping the rabbits away from the plants they most enjoy for breakfast, most prominently hostas and some low flowering plants. My biggest complaint is that I couldn’t actually get a “spray”. Without screwing the end nozzle completely off, I was only able to get a “stream.” It was also required to screw the end nozzle tightly to an off position.Happy to report, they have fixed this problem quite nicely! The new spray apparatus has 2 spray settings and an “off”.The product is quite stinky so I’m always careful not to stand down wind. The smell does dissipate relatively quickly on the plants, though it must linger to the animals.I’ve given the product only a 4 due to the “spray/stream” problem I had with the first bottle. Hopefully, no store is still selling the first iteration but beware.I do very highly recommend this repellent. It works!

Works amazingly well WHEN USED PROPERLY
1. This product only works when sprayed regularly. If it rains, you have to spray again. If it's sunny, you can go quite awhile (although i still spray every few days just to be safe)2. DO NOT SPRAY any other time than early morning or evening. If you spray mid day, your plants WILL burn.We live in neighborhood where there are A LOT of deer. During my evening walks, I see herds of 20 at a time. They aren't scared of humans and there's so little food for them here that they will eat anything....even the supposedly deer resistant stuff. They decimated my fig trees, my grape vines, raspberry and blackberries, flower garden and star jasmine. Every morning I'd find the same deer in my yard and any new growth would be gone. Since spraying this stuff, I haven't seen them in my yard nor seen them eat anything. My grape vines finally have new growth again. My only regret is not using this stuff sooner before the deer destroyed every attempt I made at having a garden.

IT WORKS!!
Be forewarned: This stuff smells AWFUL. It's a very thick concentrate & Good Lord! Don't breathe in over the bottle. Got it mixed up with water and sprayed as directed. And it still stinks! HOWEVER: The smell dissipates pretty quickly (about 20 -30 minutes). We re-apply about every 2 -3 weeks (depending on how much rain we get). THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IN 6 YEARS OF LIVING HERE that we have actually seen our day lilies BLOOM. We always get tons of buds.... and then the deer eat them. We WILL keep using this stuff! Excellant product, well worth the money!!!!
