Wow!
I bought this as a gag gift for my family because they have trouble hearing me at home as I have a quiet voice. Turned to be greater than expected. The sound is very clear, light build so it's very easy to carry around. I love the neck chain, detachable mic. Every thing about it is is extremely convenient and it's super loud. Very easy to setup as well. Just to turn on and speak

voice amplifier
Works but not very loud. Screams feedback if you put the microphone near the speaker

For Parkinson’s speech problems
Bought this for my mother in law’s boyfriend. She was having difficulty hearing him speak ( muscles for speech are affected by Parkinson’s.). Was unsure if it would help but wanted a solution and tried it. She said it’s amazing, he is so happy that he has a voice again. And she is so happy to be able to hear him again. The carers were amazed too, I think they thought he couldn’t speak so didn’t even try with him. She has left it at the care home for him and the carers and I got a second one so that she could be sure it was charged up when she visits. For the price it’s amazingly loud and clear, no whistling feedback. I think it would be useful for tour leaders or teachers on trips with kids, for the coach or boat or bus instructions. But for Parkinson’s it’s a god send!

Not loud enough
I found that the amplification just wasn’t loud enough, even to a small group of people, though it was in a warehouse type environment that had echo and I had to have the microphone right in front of mouth for it to work even a little bit and I found that off putting. I have returned the item.

Excellent value
I've had vocal cords removed in a cancer operation, so I have no voice. I can whisper into the microphone of this device, making no effort, and what I'm saying can be heard clearly by the person I'm talking to, under normal ambient-sound conditions. This device makes a very big difference in my life, and at times a singularly important one. The device appears to be well-made, the neck-strap is excellent and comfortable, adjustable, and the belt/clothing clip is of metal, not plastic. The device is small and easily portable, excellent value in this modest price-range.
