I grew out my hair a while back while in college as a bet with a friend. It turned out I didn't look too bad as my hair is naturally curly. I joined the military and had it cut short for years, as required. Now that I'm done with that life, I thought I'd grow it out again and it's been a bit of a journey.I was trying different' cremes, and gels, and pastes as I was bumbling through products trying to understand when and how to use them. As my hair got longer, and I learned how to balance the use of different products (to primarily reduce "poofy" hair), I've gotten use to using this product to help reduce frizz, add some control, and add some shine. It's got a decently masculine smell and gets the job done. I'm no hair expert, but couln't really ask for more in what I've stumbled into wanting!

I have very long 3A/3B curls and this cream is perfect. It’s highly moisturizing and I can wet and brush my hair 2-3 times throughout the week in between washes without having to reapply the cream. A little goes a long way, you don’t need too much. I had been using Cantu for years and wanted to try something new and I’m glad I did because this works so much better. It smells great too, doesn’t smell like coconut like many curly hair products do. My hair also looks and feels healthier and longer.

I am not one to write reviews but I am making an exception in this case. After my favorite curl cream was discontinued (after using it for years), I tried to replace it with anything that would give me similar results. I tried product after product after product with no luck. It either weighed my hair down, left it feeling greasy or waxy or crunchy. I have been feeling discouraged and was just about to find something to settle on. What a surprise! This cream is giving me the same results I had with my favorite discontinued brand - soft hair with curl definition and volume. I love it!! My only criticism would be the scent. It is a bit masculine but not overpowering and certainly not a reason to not use it.

Thank you ArtNaturals for recognizing that those of us with curly, thick, coarser hair, need a little more moisture in the products we use for this type of hair.And to offer it as a cream is one of the best parts!Within my first two days of using I noticed not only did it help with curl definition, the frizzies, and the moisturizing, it gives my hair a healthy, natural shine.It works well on fresh from the shower to a touch up job with slightly dampened hair.My only warning is because of the 3 oils added to it, you will need to shampoo more often than what you’re usually used to with this particular product.A lot of us with this hair type realize it’s a big NO-NO to wash every day, whether you use a conditioner or not. Especially the longer and the thicker the hair, I can go through a bottle of conditioner in a matter of a week or two-and still have it do little to nothing.I’m hoping with this product, the hour or more that it takes to wash, condition, and prepare my hair will lessen!

The initial application is okay, but the product dries soft. I was wanting a product that dried with more of a wet look. The consistency of the product is almost too thick t be applied with a pump applicator. Takes some work getting it out of the bottle.

I was using a salon brand Moroccan oil curl defining cream that became too expensive to buy, I also think their formula changed. I found this product while searching for an alternative. I'm very happy I tried this product. It works great, the price is fair and there's more in the bottle than the other product I was using. The smell of this product seemed very strong to me the first few times I used it. It has a pleasant odor, sort of like a vanilla spice smell, that I have grown to like. This cream does not weight down my fine hair, it's not sticky, it defines my curls nicely, prevents frizz and maintains its hold throughout the day. I will definitely buy this again!

This used to be my 5 star product for a long time.Something happened with it. It is so dense it doesn’t even get out of the bottle. Looks old or some bad batch. Last couple of times I purchased it was bad, returned it and repurchased it: bad again. I am done. You lost a loyal customer.

I can't even count how many products I have tried for my curly hair! I stopped when I got this one. Not only does it work great, even on 2nd & 3rd day hair & I live on the coast in the south....This stuff smells amazing! It is refreshing and calming and I love it. You have to work with it & see how much you will need for your own hair type, but once I got down the right amount to use - perfect job every time. I will never buy another brand of hair cream again. This is my absolute go to & I can't wait to try the other products from this line.
