Thebsocket is great, only issue I had was that it was slightly bigger than the hole in the desk. Had to cut the hole bigger, but then the fit is really easy. Pass the plug through the hole put the collar underneath and tighten. It then just plugs into a normal socket.

Bought two of these to install in a counter behind my couch, one works perfectly and does exactly what it is meant to, the other one has a dodgy USB-C port and does not work at all, not sure of the port is not aligned correctly or just does not work. Have tried multiple cables and devices without success. Would buy again if product control was better but for now I cannot recommend it.

This is a multi-socket with a 13 amp, USB power, and USB C connectors. This could be useful if you have various devices that need power since it would save the hassle of plugging each one into its own 13 amp socket. And it seems nicely made.You, or someone else, would have to drill an appropriate hole in the furniture for installation, and then feed the cable into a power socket.Just one negative comment - there is no light to indicate that the unit is powered on. That's a shame.

As long as the hole in your desk is 80mm then fitting this is simple. the cable is adequate so all in all a great item.
