Car issues! And it gives a warning light up on dash, so you go to the garage and get charged a lot for someone to sit in seat and plug in code reader all of 5 minutes work and here’s your bill Sir. So I bought this item as was having an issue with my Fiat 500 . The unit comes well packed and has a soft storage case for the reader along with its lead and a usb charging cable, quite straight forward to set up and once it had updated its data base I was ready to go. You plug the unit in to the cars data port turn the key to power up vehicle the select make of car. The reader then reads the vin number of vehicle and looks for any fault codes. You can then send a report to your email address for reference or send it to their database which will look up past reports of the issue and inform you of most likely cause. In my case an issue with the coil which was something I could deal with myself. So far I have been very happy with the unit and am sure it will continue to pay for itself over the coming years

Works brilliantly
Can you get a replacement charger cable as the universal 1s don't work ?

low end device more of a adultish toy too start out with than mid range however...
works really really well and the screen is great does read codes without effort and will clear them if they are archived or not active, the size is very good and easy too handle and carry around BUT it is very very limited too just about thatnothing else it does is of use too anyone and the things that you would need it for it don't do. i would consider this toola low end range device not a mid end range device as it says no upgrade path either unless your into Nissan's the inhouse shop has nothing .. saying all that if your just resetting oil servicing or clearing codes from cars that have historic repairs then its good for you .. if your using this for anything else get something double the price at minbut as i said it is good for what it is .. just needs a little more too be more than just a toy really

Works and gives you the ability to print out a report via email.
Plugged it in to charge and upload updates which can take some time. My Vauxhall Van is 2017 but is very basic when it comes to tech (why I bought it, I hate all the Christmas tree lights with thing to go wrong). When connected it searches for the VIN Number which it found but couldn't identify the model but that has a simple drop down list you pick from. Then ran the diagnostic prompt from the touch screen and your off to the races. This on will read and reset fault codes and even has a live monitoring option to record data. It allow you to email a copy of the report to an email address which is useful when contacting a garage about a problem (Charged £70 last time I had to ask the garage to look). It will not do things like reprogram ecu for new injectors if you think you need that buy the appropriate (more expensive) one but to diagnose and reset codes it works fine. Just replaced 2 glow plugs which I would have paid the garage to do which would have cost me much more than the unit and the plugs. So far rugged and reliable and a large screen making it easy to see.

Easy to use.
I recently bought this OBD2 scanner and it has been incredibly helpful. Setup was quick—just plugged it into my car’s diagnostic port and connected. It immediately pulled up error codes and gave clear explanations. Highly recommended for DIY diagnostics and routine car maintenance.

Reads the codes well.
I bought this after trying a couple of very cheap readers because the cheap ones didn't read the codes. This one is great. It reads the codes on my Vauxhall Insignia and my sons Seat Ibiza perfectly. Lets me clear them when issues are fixed so saves cost at the garage and will pay for itself in no time. Seems very sturdy and more like the ones garages use. Not as many features as professional ones but does what I need. Handy feature to be able to email the fault codes as well and updates easily through Wifi. Great buy!

Worth the money
Purchased 2 cheaper ones £20 or less this week and returned both very basic and did not recognise fault on my Insignia which I knew was present so went for a more expensive one and detected fault immediately. Unit is very well made big screen and looks expensive more like the ones you see mechanics use. Buy cheap buy twice !
