An amazing collectable or a great gift for any nightmare before christmas fan! Easily recognisable as the game monopoly and just as fun.

I recently got this and it’s quickly become a hit in my house. The game perfectly blends classic Monopoly with the charm of Halloween Town, with beautifully themed artwork and fun details.The little pieces are really nice like a cat and coffin and instead of the chance and community chest cards there are presents and pumpkins and little things like this which make it a really special game.The quality is great, too, with a sturdy board and well-made pieces that will hold up through plenty of game nights. It’s fun, nostalgic, and perfect for family nights or Halloween traditions. If you love Monopoly or The Nightmare Before Christmas, this is a must-have!

It's fun to have different themed Monopoly and see how they use interesting or clever cards, rules and place names to fit the characters or story. The Nightmare Before Xmas has plenty of scope for this and they have done an OK job but it is now somewhat compromised. It seems that since this is being released by a different company to the original version they have been unable to use any of the original designs. That means that everything about this feels like when Disney used to do a straight to video animated feature sequel with different lesser actors doing the voices and cheaper animation. It's ok but noticeably not quite as good. The player pieces are just minor generic Halloween items instead of major characters which is the most disappointing since the originals were very cool. The properties are no loner labelled as properties but just as character names and you must assume this is their abode instead of more clever things such as Sally's Alley, Under The Stairs, Scary Street. So while it's fun to play it's just a little disappointing compared to how it could have been. Kids probably won't notice and if you're a fan of the film and Monopoly I would certainly recommend it as it's the best you can get since the old version is discontinued. It's definitely as well made as I expected.
