Canon PIXMA E470 All in One (Print, Scan, Copy) WiFi Ink Efficient Colour Printer for Home

We recently added the Canon PIXMA E470 to our small office setup. It delivers good print, scan, and copy performance with dependable wireless connectivity—ideal for basic business needs.

Pros:1) The Best / only wifi all in one printer in the range of 5k with ink saver (so called).2) Low usage required & low maintenance: Thought of buying ink tank but learnt from friends that it's suitable for heavy printing and when they didn't use it for a while repairs needed. Hence decided to go for inkjet with low cost maintenance. This doesn't require daily print like ink tanks.3) product is solid built and no issues observed so far. Many long term reviews also confirmed flawless working for years so decided this model.4) Print quality: Black is very good but colour is average. Does the job for kids school project purpose.5) Easy setup : It's very easy to setup if you are techy. Setting up WiFi took little bit of time (an hour). I hate reading manuals and it was first time with a printer at home.6) Wi-Fi printing via mobile is a breeze with Canon Selphy app. Easy photo editor by canon is also quite useful /handy.Cons:1) Black is good but Colour is pretty average. Like I said good enough for home /students purpose.2) Not happy with cartidges supplied by Canon. They seem to fill only half or less for demo purpose. It gave around 100 pages for black and 15-20 pages of color with lowest quality settings (where in they claim 250 Black and 100 color). Both cartidges were almost empty and mobile app started showing the same.2) Ink cartidges cost & yield: The cost cartridges seems to be increasing (when I was purchasing this it was around 500 for black but now it's around 600) and I had no faith on the yield based on what I have got with stock cartidges. It's not worth buying cartidges so go for refill.3) We only find CL 57S Which is small. Where is Cl 57 (large size) ? Couldn't find anywhere online.

I regret buying the Canon E477 printer. While the printer itself is affordable, the real problem starts with the ink cartridges. They are very expensive, and the ink doesn't last long at all. I ended up spending more on ink in two months than the printer itself cost.Also, it doesn't support efficient refilling, and third-party cartridges either don’t work or show constant errors. Overall, it's not budget-friendly in the long run. If you're looking for something economical, stay away from this model.Waist of money.

I am writing this review after using this printer for more than 1 month. This printer does all your job at home which is required usually like printing, scanning, scan to pdf. Wireless connectivity makes it more convenient. Print quality and scan quality both are good. Ink consumption is ok ok. For home office, highly recommended.

This is one of the best wireless printers you can get at a very affordable rate. Canon being a well known brand delivers what it promises - good and efficient printing.You can set this up either as a wired printer or a completely wireless one. The setup takes a while but can be done very easily if you follow this one step when you are installing the software-When you see an option to add the printer but its not detected, select the THIRD option of manual set up using guide and follow the steps carefully. You would need to connect it to your wifi connection and make sure you double check the wifi password you add otherwise wont connect. Post detection, things go super smooth. Printing with you mobile device is also quite quick and convenient with the Canon Selphy app.Overall a great and worth for money printer, you can go for it without any second thoughts.Try printing directly from canon selphy app for quicker printing

The printer I received is presumably faulty because the USB data cable that connects to the PC leaks electricity to a level of a earthing "SHOCK" that's quite uncomfortable and it's detrimental to the PC itself. The tester signals bright RED! My electrical grounding is absolutely healthy.Well, I needed the printer for an urgent work, so I luckily managed to connect the printer wirelessly. It works fine: the print quality is very good; Scanning is justifyingly okay. All in all, a cheap machine that does well for simple, low-duty home printing tasks.

I have used HP, Epson, Brother printers before and thought about going for a cheaper option from a different brand. My choice for Canon was not wrong. It prints pretty well for the price I paid. However, I couldn't make it work with my network. The Windows 11 computer in which I loaded the printer software started acting crazy and I was unable to print in network mode. I had to reset the printer and re-install it in USB mode. Everything works fine now.

Bought Canon E477. It's a Great printer. Colour Print quality is awesome for the price it offers. Setting up the Wifi for mobile & wireless printing was little tricky using the Canon print app. But after connected correctly it worked like an Charm & nowadays every time I ON the printer it auto connects wirelessly to my mobile & laptop., there is no problem. If anyone rejects or comments negative about the wireless connectivity issues then they are missing some steps or doing it wrongly., its an Easter egg thing once you figure it out correctly then you will praise for its simplicity in connectivity. Printing speed was quick for 8ipm black & 4ipm Color. Overall I recommend this printer to anyone who are looking for budget inkjet printers other than HP. Hp printers aren't great for budget Category so I went for Canon which offered me realistic printing quality with accurate & vibrant colours. Kudos Canon..👍🏻
