Works well for alternative use (and typical use probably too)
Great! Comes and looks and feels as expected. Seems sturdy and easy to wipe clean. Although I have yet to test it in the rain, I bought this for and will be mostly using it to put on my backpack for flights so that I can put it under the seat in front of me without being bothered about my backpack touching a surface that shoes have touched…shoes that have touched the airport bathroom and airplane bathroom and bathroom floors 🫠

Best option under $60
Let me preface this by saying that although I think this cover is far from perfect, I bought a second one after a shakedown with the first and anticipate buying more as the current ones wear out.Pros:- It’s waterproof—kept my pack dry in three hours of moderate rain- Easy to put on and tighten, even with rain mitts on- Fits over tall packs and packs with brains- Fits over a dog pack (I cut off one direction of the straps and clip the other under his belly)- Comes with a sack- Cost is very good- Fairly durable and abrasion resistant. Had a few light scrapes and it came through without issue but I wouldn’t take it too far off trail. I’m about 50 rain miles in and haven’t needed to reseal anywhere but the bottom.- XX Large weighs 3.3 oz without sack. Large weighs 2.9 oz without the sack. This is great for this price pointCons:- No bottom reinforcement so bottom waterproofing wore out and I got a few small tears from putting it on the ground. Easy to patch and reseal but annoying and adds weight- Not the best fit over packs without vertical height. If the elastic can’t “wrap” over the top (for example when the shoulder straps connect with the top of the pack), water gets in at that point. Use of an umbrella negates this issueColor is not as vibrant as pictured. The blue is muted and the orange is more of a burnt orange than a “don’t shoot, I’m not prey” orange. I’ll be getting another color for hunting seasonSizing is not accurate, especially if you carry anything on the outside of your pack. I bought a XXL for a 65L Osprey Ariel pack (and a L for a Groundbird Gear Medium/~20L dog pack)Other:-Sack is not attached to the cover and has a zippered closure. Depending on your preferences these are pros or cons.- As with most (all?) pack rain flies, your back will get wet using this without an umbrella

Good size for 9 liter waist pack
Right size for what I need. I'm using it on a 9 liter waist pack. Just a little large but fine. Elastic seems strong and clips work well. Would buy again.

Great to have for hikers & bikers
Have multiple sizes to keep my backpacks dry when on the go. They come in handy when the weather changes and starts to rain.

Great backpack cover to travel
I bought this for my personal item backpack (15.74"*12.2"*5.51") - my goal was mainly to have a cover to my backpack to limit access while traveling in Europe, waterproof/resistance a plus! I think I purchased the Medium, but a small would have been fine, very stretchy. This packs easily into the carrying case which has a clip - very handy. Very easy to snap securely over the backpack. Interior is a nice reflective silver/gray, could probably reverse if desired. Reasonable price. I'm not a hiker, so can't speak to durability or use with complex bags.Happy with purchase!

Performed great during 3 weeks in Asia
I bought this before a 3 week trip to Asia. I love this backpack. Super comfortable and versatile through many planes, trains, bus and city hikes. My wife bought a 40L Cotopaxi fot the trip. This backpack performed just as well. I was actually able to (fairly) comfortably carry both (mine on back, her's on front) when she needed a break. My Core Surf functioned just as well as hers at less than half the price. I highly recommend this backpack.
